Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on September 18, 2020September 18, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 18th September 2020 Race 5 – No. 4 Bahrain Train Never too far from the action and was solid without winning when returning to the trip last week, finishing 3rd in 23.09. Will be coming home with big bounds and can cause an upset. Race 6 – No. 6 Ebby Referee In and around the placings in 4 of her last 5 over 520m at Cannington. She is better suited over this journey and was a winner when last over the trip, defeating a couple of smart ones in the process. Can return to her winning best in this company. Race 7 – No. 1 Tandem At Pace Baulked for a run at a crucial stage last start and should’ve finished closer than he did. Unbeaten in red and if he gets that gaps this time, they’ll have a hard time of holding him out. Race 9 – No. 2 Porsche Monelli Modest beginner who has been mixing form and is winless in 8 starts over the trip but he should get a good run and will be doing his best at the business end. Could prove hard to hold out. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 1 Resting Toucher Has been jumping well from awkward draws of late but will appreciate his first red rug since early March and should not let it go to waste. Capable of giving a bold sight. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.4.5.6 / 3.6.7.8 / 1.6 / 1.4.6.7 $50 for 31.25% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 19th September 2020 Race 2 – No. 2 Variation Showed plenty early toe to lead all the way in Sunday company last start, posting a solid 30.02. Won’t need to find that much more for this and he can go all the way again. Race 5 – No. 6 Grace Ali The class runner who has won much tougher races than this over the journey in the past. She has plenty of early speed to overcome the awkward draw and she should be in this for a long way. Commands respect. Race 7 – No. 4 Star Book Unbeaten in this rug and has had excuses in her past two outings from unsuitable draws. She is a slick beginner who will be strong at the finish and is capable of finishing over the top of her main dangers drawn directly to her inside. Each Way: Race 3 – No. 6 Speed Missile Led all the way from a similar draw when on debut over the trip back in May. Had excuses when returning to the journey last start and if he puts his best paw forward early, he can play a big part in the finish. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.4.6.7 / 1.2.8 / 1.4 / 1.2.4 $50 for 69.44% Trifecta – Race 9 1.2.4.5 / 1.2.4.5 / 1.2.4.5 $30 for 125% First Four – Race 4 1.4 / 1.4 / 2.5.7 / 2.5.7 $50 for 416.66% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 20th September 2020 Race 2 – No. 2 Jackson County Tasted defeat for the first time in WA when runner up to the dynamic Quartararo last start in FFA company in 27.53. Will find this more to his liking and can return to his winning ways. Race 5 – No. 5 Just Wins Boss A winner over this trip in her race debut, posting a slick 27.52 but hasn’t been seen her since. Mixing form in town but the return to Provincial company can see her find her best again. Race 9 – No. 6 Girrawheen Boy A winner in his only effort over this journey, leading all the way in a smart 17.21. Yet to miss a place from this draw and down in class. All signs point to yes.
