Race 5 – No. 1  Smooth Ride

Has been costly for punters for a long while now, having not started any longer than $5.50 in 10 runs since his last win in early July. This is the easiest line up he has met in any of those runs though and from the ideal draw, he should prove hard to hold out at the finish.

Race 7 – No. 5  Sonic Monelli    Run 2nd, Money Back.

Well-bred chaser who has not been as successful as his brothers Teddy, Ashom & Honcho Monelli but he impressed when last seen over this trip, leading most of the way in a slick 27.69. Has bumped into the likes of Black Bombshell & Skippers ticket since then and should find this more to his liking.

Race 9 – No. 1  Yunderup King

Can be risky at box rise but he does have solid mid-race pace. He hasn’t had much luck with the draws in his short career but gets his chance to top the podium from his best one yet.
