Race 1 – No. 2  Avenger Spolly

Has been costly to follow in since moving to WA, saluting just the once in 9 local outings but he is never too far from the action and from the favourable draw, he can prove hard to hold out.

Race 5 – No. 3  Straw Bear

Racing consistently in tougher on Friday nights and should find this more to his liking. Will be relying on luck from the draw but if he stays out of bother, he will prove to be the one to beat.

Race 9 – No. 2  Quiz Master

Has had plenty of chances to break through but has yet to land that elusive win in 16 starts so far. Has been placed more often than not though and is worth supporting in his return to the 490m and from a handy draw.
