Race 1 – No. 8  African Leopard   SuperPick (Place boost)

Not one to win out of turn and does make his 302m debut from an awkward draw but he is trained by the short course king Brad Cook and recent form as been sound. Should be strong at the finish and is definitely worth an Each Way ticket.

Race 6 – No. 1   Blue Velvet

Handy type who has raced well in much tougher line ups than this at headquarters. Was looming large at his most recent outing before losing concentration and his chances. Returns to a course he is more familiar with and will take holding out from the handy draw.

Race 8 – No. 1  Adele Keeping

She has been racing well without winning for a while now, placing in 5 of her last 6 in tougher line ups than this. Had no luck at all last week so overlook that run. She gets her chance to break through and make amends from the perfect draw where she has posted her best times.
