Race 1

SISTER CHERIE (2) is a talented type who has got good gate speed but also has the versatility to win from anywhere. She looks the leader in this race and should go on her winning way. AMERICAN MONARCH (1) on the quick backup from Saturday night’s win at Northam, she has options from the draw but looks a lock for second if they look for cover early. LADY VIOLETTA (10) has been an improver with every run this preparation, she is drawn to get the perfect trail and can run into the placings. CHAMPAGNE EVERYONE (4), CHAMPAGNE STYLE (5) and EYE BETTER (7) are all racing well but look novelty chances at best from their respective draws.

Race 2

MR CHIP (3) was a beaten short priced favourite in his last run, that was a month ago now and he comes in to this with no trial which gives me some confidence his work at home is good enough to enter him into a race. He has brilliant gate speed and looks set to bounce back to his best. HAVE AGO JOE (1) has some early speed in his own right, but I don’t think he can hold out the favourite, either way he should get a lovely run and be in the money. LUKE ATTACK (11) is going well enough to figure into the money, he can be put into it. WALSH (4) is a novelty chance in this with AMERICAN BULLITT (7) who just needs some luck.

Suggested Bet: MR CHIP (3) to win.

Race 3

BETTOR CLASS (1) looks to have found a suitable race, he began quickly at Pinjarra two starts ago before tiring late and last start after an early issue, he ran up behind them late bolting. If he can show the speed necessary this looks a race he should lead and be very strong in. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (4) has good early speed and can get into a handy position, he goes up in grade but is holding good consistency. RAKERO RAIDER (7) will have to overcome a tricky draw but has been closing off well in his races. CAMS BOULDER (10) comes into contention as a novelty player if he can hold the back of the favourite early. JOHNNY LOMBO (2) is racing well but early speed with him is always a concern.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR CLASS (1) to win.

Race 4

DOURADO (11) has the turn of foot to negate a tricky draw here, he has been racing well and there looks to be sufficient speed to help him overcome it. THE BEAUDSTER (2) has been wonderfully consistent and gets a good draw, he is a better chaser for mine but expecting to him run a good race here. MACHS BETTOR (7) was back to his better form and is a versatile horse who comes in with claims in this event. ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (3) now third up into the preparation can show his best, shouldn’t be far away. MAJOR CORRIDA (10) will perform well, just needs a touch of luck but is a novelty chance first.

Suggested Bet: DOURADO (11) each way.

Race 5

GULLY GUM (4) has come back in dazzling form, his run last start was full of merit and his first win back was career best from the breeze. This small field looks to suit and he will be close enough in nearly every scenario, looks very hard to beat here. INSTA GATOR (2) is a tough talented type who can bounce back off that first up defeat. He is likely to be doing the work again here which will make him vulnerable to a swooper late. MAJOR JAY (1) was beaten when leading last time out, has options from the draw and is fresh going into this, he holds the key to the race in many aspects. CHAMBRAY (6) continues to improve and was relatively luckless on Friday, will be running on well here with CABSAV (5).

Suggested Bet: GULLY GUM (4) to win.

Race 6

SPORT SPORT SPORT (3) drops in grade nicely and has very good early speed, looks the likely leader in this event and expecting her to show her best and get the job done. COURAGE OF LOMBO (1) has had her chances in recent runs and should take cover here and hope to hang on and run a place, the tempo of the race will determine whether she can hang on. VALHALLA MISS (10) is suited to this class and map of the race, she is a good place chance here. CATCH THE RED EYE (11) was fantastic last time out and can elevate again, she looks the testing material to the favourite. SECRET REACTION (4) can improve second up, she is capable along with LADY VALASCA (12) who had no luck last time out.

Suggested Bet: SPORT SPORT SPORT (3) to win.

Race 7 

EVAS IMAGE (6) was a little wayward in her run last time out when finishing unplaced, she looks to bounce back and am expecting a better version of herself here, go well. ALDEBARAN SUNDOWN (9) is racing really well and has elevated to new levels this preparation, 30m is a tricky handicap but he must be respected here. CHUMANI (4) is wonderfully consistent and shouldn’t be far away again. POSSEIDON (7) is capable of improvement in this race and at his best would be a winning chance.

Suggested Bet: EVAS IMAGE (6) to win.

Race 8

FOLLOW THE MUSIC (6) has a draw where he can be driven assertively and actively look the winner a long way out. He should run a bold race here. THE LIGHTNING STRIKE (11) is fitter for the first up assignment where he had to do to much early, expecting him to be an improver in this, can watch things unfold. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (9) has been racing well, it’s a tough draw to overcome but saved up for one run he has proven his worth at covering this class of field into the money. JILLIBY JAKE (7) is a chance to lead if they blast him off the arm but it’s all or nothing for the old boy who finds it hard to win unless he’s the pilot. EUSTON FLYER (10) needs luck but is a place hope.

Tips: 6 11 9 7

Suggested Bet: FOLLOW THE MUSIC (6) each way.

Race 9

RELATIVELY ARMA (4) is on the quick backup and looks suited at the mile, she has good early speed and should dash to the front and give them something to chase here, quite liked her chances against some talented types. AMBITSIYA (7) is very talented and she is on return, she was still learning the caper last time in and that may be against her here over the mile as she may have to rely on that raw ability. ATLAS THE TITAN (6) also a very talented type, he can do work in his races and will not be far away in this. DARK EYES (8) has been racing some of the better types and has good early speed but don’t think he can cross the 4. PETES HONOUR (5) has come back well but this is another test for him.
