Race 1

Open trotters event to start the day. PEACHEE (9) gets in well under the new system off the handicaps and her best is well and truly up to these, but she is first up so happy to play around the each way quote and have a speculative bet. BETTY BOOTZ OFF (8) has come back well and should be ready to rock and roll here, strong each way claims. BEE BEE BEROC (6) is racing consistently and will play a part. CYCLONE KADABRAMELIA (7) a bit like BEE BEE BEROC (6) is racing well but do prefer both at the shorter trip. LAVRADORE (1) was solid on return and can be kept safe. QUIGGLEY (3) has shown ability but has a few tricks.

Suggested Bet: PEACHEE (9) each way.

Race 2

MIKI WINDERMERE (2) showed good promise on debut after running into some bother late, still finished the race off well. Should be benefitted by the experience and bumps into essentially an easier field, go well. WHOOPSADAISY (1) has options from the draw but was solid last time out in moderate time, each way. THINGS CHANGE (7) is a hard horse to catch and only confused punters more by sailing around Busselton like a fool proof pacer, he is going well enough to win. ELIZABETH AITCH (5) is from a family of winners and should be kept safe, but the trials have only been fair.

Tips: 2 1 7 5

Suggested Bet: MIKI WINDERMERE (2) to win.

Race 3

ALTA KING (7) is a nice type of horse and although doing things wrong from a better draw last start, he still finished the race off well. Looks to have good ability and prefer him drawn out today, hard to beat. HOLD YOUR FIRE (3) did plenty in the early stages and was luckless late on New Years Eve at Bunbury, expecting him to run a bold race here. ARISE LAZARUS (6) has been racing stronger but the now turned 3yo has a tricky draw to overcome and races older horses. STAR OF THE GALAXY (8) is following similar pathways to HOLD YOUR FIRE (3) but from what could be a tricky draw, he seems more of a novelty chance. IDEALINCIDER (4) and IM GRAFTER (5) are both racing well enough to play a part, but they’ve had a few chances.

Suggested Bet: ALTA KING (7) to win.

Race 4

AMARETTO ANGEL (6) was an improved effort last time out where they got home steady on the run to the line, she has plenty of gate speed and can burn across to lead and run a bold race here. EILEENMAY (1) was on speed in a ridiculous tempo and that was against a better field, she has the ideal draw, and they look to run a more sedate tempo here. DISPATCHER (8) needs some luck to win but she is a different horse when she is on the rail, she will be running on strongly. INTERNAL WAVES (2) won in slow time and rises in grade. PHILTHEJUG (3) is in an out in terms of form. CARIBBEAN TIMES (9) has a nice trailing draw and has improved in recent runs to elevate to a novelty chance.

Tips: 6 1 8 9

Suggested Bet: EILEENMAY (1) each way.

Race 5

BLAZE COOPS (3) is a speedy type who comes into this race fresh, she should be leading and rolling along and making it difficult to run her down. GOLD HORSESHOE (1) is ideally drawn and sits on speed well, he will be dangerous late. ROCKIN LE MONDE (4) is in stellar form but may have to do some work and the tempo might not favour being off the rails. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (8) rises in grade but will be fitter and has drawn to get a good run. ALWAYSBFRANK (6) has a bit of a nothing draw and looks a place chance.

Tips: 3 1 4 8

Suggested Bet: GOLD HORSESHOE (1) each way.

Race 6

RAJAH ROCKS (8) is fitter for the first up effort and has an abundance of high speed, he will be closing off strongly and looks a major player in this. YAWOMA (5) was a nice win last run, has plenty of early speed and could cross rivals here and be very hard to run down. ROAD STAR (7) is a nice type who burnt the candle at both ends last run, expecting him to be getting home strongly. BLOCKJORG (2) nicely drawn and will be fitter, can run a better race. ITS JUSTA SHOTAWAY (4) is very consistent and a must for your novelties.

Tips:  8 5 7 4

Suggested Bet: RAJAH ROCKS (8) each way.

Race 7 

JUSTLIKE TURBO (10) leaps off the page as a major player here, his two runs back have been in terrific order and this is a massive drop in grade for him, I think he can win this race from anywhere. CHAMPAGNE STYLE (2) has been luckless as of late and can improve from the solid draw. CASSINI BELLE (1) takes on the older horses and is ideally drawn, novelty chance because of the draw. I SEE FIRE (6) will be whacking away and should be included in the novelties, along with CLASSNSMART (4) and SUNPATRA (8) who both mix their form lines.

Tips: 10 2 1 6

Suggested Bet: JUSTLIKE TURBO (10) to win.

Race 8 

Open race to conclude. SUNDANCER RAINBOW (3) has been consistent and looks to have found a good race today, not known for doing much work in her races she should be a major player from the draw as she’ll be close enough in running. PACIFIC EAGLE (1) has a nice draw and options, should run well on his current form. SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (7) gets down in grade and has shown versatility in this class, he will run a bold race. COHLIN (8) drawn to get a soft run and is a novelty chance with IM DRINKINDOUBLES (9) who has been racing stronger fields.

Tips: 3 1 7 8

Suggested Bet: SUNDANCER RAINBOW (3) each way.
