Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on October 21, 2024October 21, 2024 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (5) has been racing in consistent form, she made a rare error last time out and appears to be even better placed to get the money today, very hard to beat here. DREAMBIGAIMHIGH (6) is racing well, he is not one to overdo it in races and is normally saved up for one run, he is always an each way chance. Same story for SELLUNE (8) who has been tardy away recently in stands, his form is first class, and he is a big winning chance with a safe getaway but that’s the dangerous game we play. MAJESTIC MARION (7) goes back 10m but was solid in victory against the same field last time out. Tips: 5 8 6 7 Suggested Bet: SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (5) to win. Race 2 FABULOUS DREAM (1) has had the one trial and ran well in decent times, he now moves to the care of Mike Reed and gets the perfect draw. Impeccably bred and a full relation to Lets Chase The Dream (650k) and Amazing Dream (1.9m), he has to be respected on breeding alone, expecting a bold performance. BOY BLUE (2) has trialled up well and looks to have plenty of high speed, he will run a cracking race on debut and is the major threat. MICKEY BE SWIFT (3) was just okay last time out but a repeat of his first up run holds him in good stead for the novelties. SHOOBEES DOUBLE (4) trialled up soundly, has shown ability. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (8) is a place chance from the good draw. Tips: 1 2 3 4 Suggested Bet: FABULOUS DREAM (1) to win. Race 3 CORK CAN RUN (1) returns to the track under the care of Debra Lewis and has been very well placed here, he comes up with the ace and he is a known front runner to on speed runner and looks hard to beat. OFF THE CHARTS (5) is the obvious danger and should run a big race in this company, this is easier. KURIOUS BOY (2) looks a really good place hope from 2, can see him potentially getting in behind the speed and his form has been good. FRANKLIN DELANO (6) was solid in defeat last run and that appeared to be his best run of the campaign so far. Tips: 1 5 2 6 Suggested Bet: KURIOUS BOY (2) to place. Race 4 Open maiden event. IDEALINCIDER (3) has put in some decent efforts as of late and has looked unlucky in a few races. Loomed up but couldn’t finish it off last start but has got some early speed and looks an each way chance in open race. LOW FLYIN (6) has had more than her fair share of opportunities, she can win this but will likely be running on to do so. LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (1) has drawn to improve with MARLEDIE (2) likewise drawn well, overall their form isn’t flash. COUNT BOSCAR (8) wasn’t a bad effort after breezing last time out and could improve from the soft draw here. Tips: 3 6 8 1 Suggested Bet: IDEALINCIDER (3) each way. Race 5 ROCKIN LE MONDE (7) is a quick beginner with the draw advantage over his main rival, the lightning lap looks to suit and if he can cross I think he can get the job done. ITS JUSTA SHOTAWAY (8) is racing well and this grade suits him, he will look threatening. ERA (3) wasn’t a bad effort last time out and is suited to the dash, keep safe. MANGO TANGO (9) is racing well but it is a tough draw to overcome at the trip. Tips: 7 8 3 9 Suggested Bet: ROCKIN LE MONDE (7) to win. Race 6 TRAVELBAN (1) has options from the good draw, he was solid in his return run last time out and has good early speed. The gelding is versatile and fitness should be elevated going into this, I think he will be very hard to beat. TANTABIDDI (3) is the horse that could cross him at the start, he is racing well and will be hard to gun down if he does lead. OUR VINNIE (2) was much better last time out and is trending in the right direction. FRISKY STYX (4) is first up for the new stable, he has shown good ability and can improve, form doesn’t read all that flash so it’s a balancing act. SHOWPONY (7) can improve and is a novelty hope. Tips: 1 3 2 4 Suggested Bet: TRAVELBAN (1) to win. Race 7 BRODIE BOY (1) is exceptionally placed and drawn to win today, he has brilliant early speed and looks ideally placed at the lightning lap trip, very keen on him winning today. SPRING LINE (2) looks the big threat, he has early speed in his own right but with no back line I thought he would duck in and try and outsprint him late, he should run in the money and is a winning chance. RECOVER LOVER (5) is in top form but this is a bit awkward, she doesn’t know how to run a bad race and am expecting her to close off strongly. AMERICAN MONARCH (8) will be running on well but draw hurts and think SUNSHINE SWIFT (9) is a horse to keep safe in novelties and also your quaddie. Tips: 1 2 5 9 Suggested Bet: BRODIE BOY (1) to win. Race 8 THE WILDCARD (8) was solid in defeat last time out and he stepped like a gazelle, if he begins anywhere close to that he will be on the leaders in the blink of an eye and could end up in front. He is also a horse who loves the sprint trip and his last win was brilliant track and distance. DUTY BOUND (6) is racing well, this represents a drop in grade and looks the testing material. CHILLI PUNTER (1) was steady away in a recent trial, she is capable, but the start is the key. AMERICAN CRUISE (2) flew away last time out, he is a novelty chance again. Tips: 8 6 2 1 Suggested Bet: THE WILDCARD (8) to win. Market Market
