I wish he hadn’t but we will have something on anyway. He should lead these and a long way. The last bit will test but at the price, he could get trouble behind so is worth a spec. The 1 is the dog to hold out here. If it lands remotely close they won’t stop it late. Race 7 No. 6 Wood Fire and No. 7 Born A Star The 6 can lead here and spear up out wide. Hard to catch if he finds the top and no luck his last couple early. The 7 gets a good cart over from that and will be hard to stop if she is close to him or anything else for that matter. Worth a crack at both here at the odds. Race 8 No. 2 Lima Monelli Resuming from a spell but very strong and some suspect customers in this. Can sprint well fresh and if she hops on to the back of these she will charge home here. Top 2 hope with a little back straight luck. Race 10 No. 2 Aerodynamic Girl I don’t even know how this is not a clear favourite. Twice she has speared and all but crossed off outside boxes. Finally moves to the inside here and only has to repeat her box manners to lead and good luck catching her after that. Monster hope, great price, best bet!!! Race 11 No. 2 Blackwood Blue and No. 5 Odds On Brax The 2 is actually going better than it looks and the draw could see him hold up here. Will be very hard to catch if he does lead and racing against easier dogs here. The 5 will also try and lead off the middle and if he does, they won’t get him with his recent 520 efforts being superb. Both solid hopes. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 4 My Catalina Great top 2 hope here. Hits the line hard and the small field a huge plus. Goes well track and trip and the clear danger to the fav and can beat her if she gets in front of it at any stage. Shouldn’t miss that top 2 div. Race 5 No. 1 Rock Me Rocco This bloke was huge run last time in good company and steps up to the middle trip again now. He is possibly one run short but his effort last time was too big to ignore. Can punch up and be hard to stop here for top 2. Race 9 No. 2 He’s No Slouch Let’s be real here. He is clearly the best dog in this race and has faced the best Vic has to offer. A top grade chaser who gets in very very well here and is a multiple track and trip winner. Fast dog who is better than these with any luck at all. Market Market
