Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 19, 2023July 19, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 4 Saige Tenniele Booming effort last time and drawn to get a very similar map here to repeat. Drops to the fence early and as long she holds that first turn rails run, she will again get into her work up the back and be awfully hard to stop again. EW all day of this all goes to plan. Race 5 No. 6 Spider Venom and No. 7 Paua of Molly Gee the 6 is a big price here. Gets a nice cart over early and if he lands right there, will take a lot of stopping in the run home. Map is ok. The 7 will rush down to the first turn out wide and go close to settling on the arm. Made a similar run last week when wilting slightly in the run home but was her first 500 after a few 380s so improves here. Race 6 No. 4 Maxwell Smart and No. 8 Coco Shimmer The 4 actually has more ability than his form presently shows. Part of a good litter and he was a nice winner two starts back before absolutely no luck last week when knocked around but still hitting the frame behind a runaway winner. The 8 hasn’t got her the draw she wants but with a bit of speed in this, she goes across the back here and again finds the fence to work home strongly. Won well last time and is going as good as ever. Race 7 No. 3 Zearfoss and No. 7 Sweet Emily If the 3 beats this fav out, he will never catch her so she priced to play here. Super winner two starts ago and not beaten far last time in a tough race when getting no early luck. Start important but she can step. As can the 7 who doesn’t really like the outside boxes but there isn’t a great deal of pace inside her and she could get over here. Sustains a strong run home and one at odds to consider. Race 11 No. 2 Electric Data Ok he’s got one job. Miss the red. It all hinges on what the 1 dog does at the start. The reason being he is a very wide runner, as is the 4 and with the 3 spearing out, the 2 just needs to find his spot quickly and he will become the one to beat. Outstanding run last week and silly price here at doubles. Just needs that first 50m to pan out but he can handle it. Great show. THE MEADOWS Race 6 No. 8 Live In Infamy and No. 4 Archman With a couple of steady beginners inside, including the fav, the 8 could get over here and he is very strong. Goes ok track and trip too and can figure. The 4 has ability but not sure he’s trying too hard early. Gets going late and at the quote, is worth a place heavy spec in case he gets a rails run and sees the lure. Nothing silly there as he lacks conviction but plays for luck here. Race 7 No. 1 Rhino Bale Comes out of a luckless Maturity heat run. Boxed to go close now and is the class runner here. Middle distance type who can sprint as well and should step and get it done here. No excuses today. Race 10 No. 7 Miss Scotch Less She has talent this dog but she runs around a little and can be steady in a field. In saying that, she drops some very fast runs throughout the race when she gets clear air and she does hit the frame a lot. Top 2 player in the smaller field and will charge late with room. Race 11 No. 4 Good Chat Wispy His form is not inspiring but he is better than these at his best and this trip will give him a chance to show it. Got lost over the middle trip last time and can show speed again here No be much harder to catch if he gets the arm. Been well backed already and hits top 2 with a good first section. Market Market
