Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 7, 2023June 7, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 6 No. 2 Red Shell Supported immediately on the open. Boxed to give his best effort here and that’s enough to run over the red. Drops back to the 380 and that’s a key move here that will see him land there into the back. It’s all ominous from there for the opposition. Just needs to get the start right. Race 7 No. 3 Navy Blue Buzz Box, map, trip and grade all make up the ingredients for a match winning cake. Smokes the pipe into the first turn to at least track up the inside two and possibly the 4. The nitrous button gets a nudge into the back and rear vision mirrors required for the leaders as he cuts loose with a sustained middle and last section. EW bird here but can win. Race 8 No. 1 Wynburn Joy and No. 8 Stella Forever If the 1 steps and holds into the back, I’m not sure anything in this can mow her down. Just missed behind Aussie Trickster last time and that form is more than enough here. If anything is to challenge it would be the 8. Came from a long way back in the same race to place last time and can land closer here. Strong home. Race 9 No. 3 Bullpen Well this has to be it. Has eons in class on this field and while she has been missing the kick, she could actually do that here and get away with it. She is that much better than these. Only concern is confidence but really should be marching around to win this with any luck at all. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 4 Apache Shout He’s had a run outs but this is his chance to salute again. Coming out of strong races and the small field right up his alley here. Can get back but shouldn’t be an issue here. Looks the one and will hit top two at the very least. Race 4 No. 8 Roman Blazer Two dog race and counting on this bloke to find the arm quickly here. Has most of these covered in that case and will simply be a matter of how close the fav is being slightly stronger in the run home. Could sneak away with a winning break however and should hold a top two position in the run home. Race 8 No. 4 Sher Zany and No. 2 Blue Tequila The 4 clearly cuts loose here with unstoppable run homes and just needs to obtain a clear passage to do so. Has superior last sections for the smaller field. The 2 is a sneaky hope at double figures to get into the placings. Was spat out here last time but did make some good ground late and can land closer. Market Market
