Race 4 No. 4 Venetian 

It’s a maiden and that’s trouble to start with, but I simply can’t see this dog being scoreless for too much longer. Dropped back to this trip last week with no luck off a tough draw but still came on well. If he can obtain clear running into the back he can hit the frame here. Follow. 

Race 9 No. 3 Aston Casino and No. 7 Flamboyant Lad 

The 3 finally gets closer to the fence. Can win. Superb run last week off a tough draw and only has to repeat the run from 3 back to get into this. EW bird and ludicrous price. Small spec save on the 7 who goes better over this shorter trip.  Can surprise if he offsets the box. All about the 3 however. EW all day with just an ounce of luck. 

Race 10 No. 1 Big If and No. 3 Global Plan

The 1 could hold up here and his best chance lay with him leading. Much better arm dog and this race is void of big run on types. Brilliant box stats. The 3 has one in him and he gets a small spec here for nothing more than he can run on here where some can’t. Starting to think this is not his trip at this track so something has to show here or that’s it for him. Last chance. He has the ability and if this was a Mandurah 490m he would be in main calculations. 

Race 11 No. 5 Back Creek Bella

Effort was ok last week but the fact that she stuck on in a much tougher race says she can win here. Has good box manners mostly and raced much harder opposition and does have a good record track and trip. If she nails the start, she’s a major threat. 

Race 12 No. 2 Blackwood Blue and No. 1 Saint Ruby 

Price went quickly on the 2. He leads this he wins. Boxed to hold these up and raced better dogs than this lately. Can even come from just off the arm. Big show. The 1 is well drawn and have a small save on her. She keeps hitting that line and will get a nice cart here. The 2 the main play however.
