Both do their best work up front and the run to the first turn will decide this race and both are priced to play. Leaning slightly to the red with a fraction more strength. Race 4 No. 9 Barossa Rose If she secured a start off an inside draw she’s a threat. Races well here and can figure with a good box. Race 5 No. 5 Teflon Dusty and No. 8 Barefoot Wah Wah The 5 can handle all draws and he goes his best here. Double figure shot who consistently hits the line here and the frame. The 8 will muster up quick and go close to crossing here. Will prove hard to catch on the arm and that chance is here in this race. Race 6 No. 3 Apollo Fun Went up $14 and what a ridiculous quote about a dog who can not only win, but run some time. Was super first look here with no luck and will improve again this week. If he finds the arm, it’s over. If he is close turning, it’s over. Great EW price still so EW as a contingency but is best bet here. Start is everything, he just needs to step his best. Race 7 No. 3 Eugenius and No. 8 My Time The Mandurah Derby. Crumble hard to beat but he wasn’t smack your face impressive in his heat. Didn’t go faster than anything else on the day. The 3 is a smokies hope here and could lead if the 4 finds trouble early. Heat run good and great price. The 8 will get a runway down to the first turn and if he happens to cross and lead they won’t catch him either. Two solid hopes to knock this fav over and place heavy at least. Race 8 No. 6 West On Whistle and No. 5 Aquila The 6 could find the top here first turn. That would make things very interesting as she would not be easy to catch. Good price to find out. The 5 would only needs to bring her best here to win. Box manners letting her down but don’t be surprised if she steps on this track and lure. Save there. Race 9 No. 3 All Over Katie and No. 8 Saige Tenniele Taking this fav on as last weeks time has too many questions for mine. Went as quick as Crumble Monelli and while he wasn’t all that comfortable, he has days and weeks on this fav in ability. Just not sure with the margin to 2nd that Redshift Tango runs that either. So going wider here, especially with the wide running red dog who has speed. The 3 needs a fence drop here and rails run. Could run home then. The 8 also needs first turn gaps but lack of early toe could present that. Both place heavy shows in an intriguing affair. Race 11 No. 3 Sanitized Gets her chance now. Needs the fence early and takes the first turn run here. Can lower that 29.83 run here and is strong in the run home. Look for an improved showing this time. Race 12 No. 5 Opal Magic Found nothing but trouble last start at Cannington and while this is a decent race, she shouldn’t be $20. Has a good record here and no issues with the track and trip. Finds the fence and hits the line. Place heavy go again, SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 1 Targod Shirley Had absolutely no luck last week when Orca held up everything with his bag of tricks. Some reservations that he’s in the race again and that’s a worry as he can alter a dogs chances but if she stays away from him she can descend here. Should have won last week and can atone here. Race 5 No. 8 Whitely Bale Superb effort last time and while there are a few handy ones here, they need a bit to go right. She can handle a wide draw and racing keenly and if she chimes in up the back she will keep coming late. EW hope. Race 6 No. 6 Money and Power and No. 2 Why Not Pearl The 6 needs the arm. He is under rated and when he does lead he can show why as he is hard to get past. Needs to nail the start. The 2 is a smokies hope as she sticks on well and is drawn in where she wants to be. Don’t be surprised to see her hit the frame late. Race 8 No. 1 Yachi Bale and No. 6 Modern Collinda The 1 disappointed last week but he’s better than that. Was buried back early when not stepping that well and never got a look. Can turn it around here. The 6 might lead here and he’s hard to catch when he does. Handles wide draws and don’t dismiss. Race 9 No. 8 Classic Touch Best EW play on the card. Has been running home hard and loves being drawn off the track. Only has to stay up the track and settle remotely forward here to drop on these late. Big last section. Race 10 No. 5 Spring Gonzales Ran out of his skin for us last week at $71. Just ran out of time to reel the winner in off a similar draw. If he can offset the box again, a repeat run will see him hit the frame again at good EW odds. Race 11 No. 3 Springview Noah Kennel mate to the previous and this is his very last chance. His best simply wins against these but he’s not showing early interest lately. Has had the few weeks freshen up however and that’s why he gets one last go. Boxed to be in this if he turns up. Market Market
