Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Tips Posted on February 16, 2023March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 5 No. 5 Indy Go Ruby and No. 7 Pauline Keeping The 5 very hard to beat here. Form super and ready to win after a string of good efforts. Steps well, early speed and runs time. The 7 is a sneaky hope if she gets over. Racing without luck but more than capable and save on her EW. Race 6 No. 3 Prime Gold If this was 405m he would be a bird!! Can still win though and box will assist in that. Has a great turn of foot and runs good time when given room to operate. Coming out of a much tougher race. If he stays close early he wins. Race 7 No. 1 West On Whistle She’s a chance here to hit the podium at odds with the good draw. Some big question marks over the fav and a bad fence-crasher in 8 complete a potential train wreck here for the runners early. She just needs to hold her spot and drive up and she’s a threat. Race 8 No. 2 Sudoku Linda Over the odds this girl. Her best option would be to get behind the red and wait for him to shift off first turn and waltz through. Great strike rate and racing well, she can surprise this lot at double figures. Race 10 No. 8 Prime Billie Start critical here. If she spears out and holds the wide line, she can march over to the front and take no end of stopping from there. Goes well here track and trip and box only hurdle. Race 11 No. 3 Got The Fury Gets the downgrade here and with a vacant inside him now, he will be there to strike when it matters. Raced far opposition than this lately and will appreciate the easier company. Hits top 2 here with any luck at all. SANDOWN PARK Race 5 No. 6 Hamillson and No. 1 Jigglypuff The 6 is ready and coming off a super run last week. Goes fast off the mat and sticks on well. Big show here. The 1 finally draws the red and back to Sandown could mean everything. Has had several chances but has everything in place this time and must produce or wait til she steps up in trip. Box gives her that chance though. Race 6 No. 8 Darnum Diva and No. 3 Under Arrest Look for the 8 to swish over here. She threw it away last start when she had the leader cold but ran into it rather than around it and cost her certain victory. The 3 is coming off a staying run and is better suited here. If he lands close early he can run away with this. Has the ability to beat these easily. Start important for him. Race 7 No. 5 Hara’s Skipper He may be a bit clumsy and awkward but has a motor these don’t and now he’s back to Sandown he can turn his last two around. Has some very fast wins and only has to secure a clear run to win. First turn decides his race and can make it four from six here with a any luck at all. Race 8 No. 5 Zoha Bale and No. 8 Wizardry Things The 5 is the best dog in the race and is ready here. Can get back but has a booming middle and last section that will be hard to stop this time. The 8 went super last week for us at massive odds. Just took a wrong run first turn but the step up in trip and back to Sandown a huge plus. Save on him EW. Race 9 No. 3 Black Sail Coming off a Rookie Rebel last week. Has panels on these so only has to handle the drop back in trip and get the first turn luck to put these to the sword. Best form at this track too. Looks the one if he finds no trouble. Race 10 No. 3 Wharfie Almost crossed over last week so the move to an inside draw is key. Drop in company also a huge plus and look for him to step and hold the arm this time. Won’t be caught if he leads solo up the back. ANGLE PARK Race 5 No. 3 Basil Brush Rose Continues to race well. No early dash but he gets into gear quickly and makes a long sustained run home. If he can track up the 1 and 4 here he will be a major threat on the run home for a top 2 finish. Race 7 No. 4 Kruger Lass Forgiving her last run where she was very disappointing. She is much better than that. Had to work overtime after missing the start to weave though and take over with a lap to go. The effort told and she couldn’t get away. Steps better here and will be hard to catch if she gets the front sooner. Race 8 No. 1 Could Be King St Leger final. This blokes run was simply enormous. Copped some early traffic and the leaders got away up the back but once he got balanced up, he unleashed a run home that only good dogs do. Box everything here with the wide running 2 set to give him every hope to settle up closer. Will be anything in 6 months and can win this. At the very least he’s a great EW play. Race 10 No. 4 Cawbourne Attack The smokie of the night. His form says no but don’t be surprised if he gets a first turn rails run here and starts a run home that sees him in the finish. Is a monster quote but can stun these if the right map presents and worth a place heavy spec. Market Market
