Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 21, 2023December 21, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 5 Limited Gas This will be it for her if she can’t produce here. Handles the track and trip and just needs a clear look early. End of the line here. Race 5 No. 1 Prompt Response and No. 6 Blast Of Irish The 1 can be a little hot and cold but the box should see him turn up like he’s right out of the tanning bed. Steps and stays out of trouble and he wins. If he finds trouble, the 6 is racing better than ever. Great effort last time in a good race. Can work home to hit the frame. Race 6 No. 2 Alden Moneli and No. 3 Dandalup Dollar The 2 ran out of his skin last week first crack track and trip. Kept coming and only fell short a length behind a handy dog. A repeat see him go well again. The 3 will be very strong here after a string of distance runs. Versatile and going well here and will be charging home if he gets a look turning. Race 7 No. 5 Luke’s Coal Box looks sticky but the map isn’t that bad if he can step this time. He’s racing well with no early luck and hitting the line but he will get room to muster here quickly. Just needs to capitalise. Can figure. Race 10 No. 1 Silly Old Bear Enjoys racing here better than Cannington by the early looks of things. Boxed to drive up the fence and he really hits the line well over this short trip. Each way chance. Race 11 No. 4 Bondi Monelli Lead or bust here. She’s better than these at her top and while she might be getting to the end of her racing career, she is still capable of spearing out and giving these what for. Take on trust. SANDOWN PARK Race 1 No. 2 Belle Extra Monster run last week. Jumped well but spat out the back and gave them a hopeless amount of ground. Charged through the last two sections and should have won. Massive hope here off a great map. Race 2 No. 4 Bomb Murt Promising youngster who again made sustained ground to hit the frame last week after a huge effort behind Soda Frank. Will appreciate slightly easier company and can figure here with any first turn luck Race 3 No. 3 Ethanol Volume and No. 6 Ethanol Water Brother and sister who have their fair share of talent. The 3 gets a little wide but he’s got a huge motor and just needs to stay handy here. Then again so does his sister in 6 who has just as big an engine. They can both win this with any luck. Depending on price they would again be each way birds staked correctly. Race 4 No. 8 Xile Bale He’s got some talent this bloke and will appreciate a lot of these needing to lead. Can reel off big fractions and hit back into form at Horsham last time and goes well here too. Each way spec on him. Race 5 No. 5 Andre Bale and No. 3 Flying Redeemer The 5 was awfully stiff last week coping multiple checks then making a wrong choice turning. Should have finished much closer. Can hit the frame here with first turn luck. The 3 rattles off a strong run home and this could be run to suit. Handles all draws and will be closing late. Race 6 No. 3 Akina Jack and No. 8 Lupini Monelli The 3 is getting stronger. Bailed out of a tough Sale cup heat but still as far from disgraced and his run prior was outstanding. Massive hope here. The 8 will look to swish over and lead. She is racing so much better now and will have no issues with the distance. Hard to catch if she does lead. Race 9 No. 5 Here Comes Blue and No. 6 Zipping Hopkins The 5 has some talent and just needs to offset the middle draw. Has experience around here and can run time. The 6 walks out badly but he recovers quickly and works through the gears to get into a striking spot. Showed that last week with a hard closing 2nd here. Look for him late. Race 10 No. 1 Orli Bale and No. 4 Mepunga Loaf The 1 looked home last week but shortened stride badly and may have cramped the last 50m. Forgiving that has he has enormous ability. Boxed to go very close. The 4 is better known as a stayer but he can sprint as well and nothing will rocket home harder here. Place heavy for him. Market Market
