Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 15, 2023June 15, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 8 Bazinga Girl Giving her one last go back here at Northam. Box got her at Cannington but she is capable and this isn’t hard. Can muster quickly when she steps. Small spec at the odds EW. Race 4 No. 7 Dozer Can Browse While she has yet to place here, gee she gets well against these. Has raced much better dogs and gone well and loves an outside box. Every possible here to drive up and put herself in it. Over the odds. Race 5 No. 1 Stevie Monelli Boxed to win. Handles this track well and coming out of a much stronger race last time at Cannington. Only has to hold a forward spot to run over these and looks the one. Race 8 No. 8 Guess Why Finally rewarded for consistency last week with a fast win off box 1. While the 8 isn’t her best draw, it won’t be a huge issue here as she always finds the fence quickly around this circuit. If she hits the front at any stage, it’s over. These won’t run her down with her solid run home. Top 2 player. Race 11 No. 5 Opie Monelli Snuck up for a trial not long back and went super over this trip. Start critical here and if he can land in a spot first turn, he will go fast up the back. Would like to see him grab the arm at some stage through the middle as he will be very hard to catch if that happens. Getting the price to find out. Race 12 No. 8 Rona’s Rocket Can absolutely knock this fav over. Has been racing out of her skin lately with some huge efforts and went a fast 17.13 last time off a middle draw. Will dart up out wide and keep coming to the line. Can win and should hit top 2. SANDOWN PARK Race 2 No. 2 Majestic Jay Consistent dog who is boxed to go well and surprise here. Can show up early and sticks on late. Just needs to hold his spot. Great EW chance at his fav track. Race 3 No. 4 Lederhosen Boy and No. 4 Andre Bale The 1 can stun these if he steps. Better known over the middle trip, he has a strong sustained middle section that will put him in the finish here with any luck. The 4 was stiff last week. Should have won and can punch up here and land close. He’s due and only needs a look up the back to be in the frame. Race 5 No. 8 Zoha Bale Back from QLD. No luck in the Chase final and will enjoy being back here. Racing better than it looks and can reel off ridiculous sections when she’s wound up with clear running. She should get that here and hit top 2. Race 6 No. 1 Dewana Scotch Very promising and was superb effort last time. Gets the gun draw now so won’t get too far back. 3rd up this time and he’s ready to strike here and only needs to come out with them to be a major force late. Race 7 No. 6 Galloping Speed Will start one of the rank outsiders but can surprise here. Always seems to run into it with a lap to go and through the middle and he was giving a sight in a strong race last time. Place heavy but small spec. Race 8 No. 7 Jigglypuff and No. 8 Trending Xara The 7 finally gets away from The Meadows and that could be all she needs to spark right up. Racing well over this trip and will look for the fence off a slow step. Runs on well. The 8 only has to offset the box against these. Can run time and is very strong and raced some good dogs lately. Big chance and gets a save. Race 10 No. 4 Mahjong Bailey Ran another cracker last week from the back and will give a similar effort here. Winds up hard through the middle and really hits the line well over this trip. Another who will go well at double figures and place heavy will again see him close to collecting for punters. Race 11 No. 4 Shima Stella She was awful last week at The Meadows after a sharp win here the week prior. Has any amount of ability so forgiving last weeks run. Goes fast off the mat and can put herself straight into a winning position. Ready to bounce back. ALBION PARK Feature racing continues tonight with the State of Origin series, Cup preludes and more. Selections and plays below: Race 1 No. 4 Spot On Harper and No. 5 Targod Shirley Both solid place heavy EW bets but the 4 is a monster hope here at good odds. Race 2 No. 2 Play Nice Outstanding last week. Can repeat for top 2. Race 3 No. 6 Trooper Tears and No. 5 Kai Bale The 6 back to his best last week while the 5 is airborne but first up here. Race 5 No. 8 Kelsey Bale and No. 4 Father Rick The 8 one of the best in the country and been here. The 4 very under rated and can surprise. Race 6 No. 7 Adhana Rico and No. 3 Crackerjack Aret The 7 a huge EW show here at great odds. The 3 with the big engine and he’s ready to strike. Race 7 No. 1 Days of Thunder and No. 3 Wendy Rocks The 1 was a tragedy beat last week. Good draw. The 3 has a stack of upside and super run last week. Race 8 No. 6 Shipwreck Only has to find a first turn spot to be a huge EW player late in the race. Wrong price. Race 9 No. 3 Jay Is Jay If he’s right, the other dog isn’t in the race. His best walks in. $1.60 needed to find out though. Race 10 No. 7 All Spritzed Up and No. 1 On The Off The 7 having 2nd look here now. Has an unrivalled middle and last section these can’t get close to. The 1 could hold up and lead. Hard to get past when he’s in the mood. That’s on the arm usually. Race 11 No. 6 Nando Dreamer Smoky to take us out at EW odds. Strong late and loves it here. Market Market
