Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on September 7, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 1 No. 3 Shady Town Back off a short let up. Can show speed and runs his 17.4 which will win if he finds the top here. Box fine. Race 2 No. 4 Mungo Kurt and No. 5 Riverside Lenny The 4 improves after seeing the track last week. A better step and settles closer to be a threat. The 5 resuming and he has a quick turn of foot off the mat. If he steps well he can figure here. Race 3 No. 3 Moment To Boogie and No. 7 Kid Kimetto The 3 another to improve after a look last week. Run was excellent and drawn to go close this time. The 7 likes it here and can give this a shake. Will punch up out wide and hits the line well. Don’t ignore him. Race 4 No. 4 Bracton and No. 6 Nitro’s Ruby Looking for the 4 to press for the arm. Hard to catch when he gets it and went good time running 2nd last time. The 6 stuck it out well for the win last start and she can speed up quickly out wide. Could run a race at odds and don’t dismiss. Race 5 No. 2 Dandalup Cross Got too far back last week but that’s not usually him. Settles closer here and keeps finding the line. First turn run will help and should get it. Top 3 player at EW odds. Race 6 No. 3 Learavia and No. 4 Venetian The 3 could stun these. Isn’t going that bad and will prove for a fence run first turn. Drop in class helps a lot. The 4 only has to step to be a major threat. Coming out of much harder races and likes it here. Big chance. Race 7 No. 4 Kanji Giant and No. 2 Joe The Lion The 4 yet another to benefit from a run here last week. Went good time in defeat and natural improvement sees him in the finish. The 2 will get a nice run and he goes ok here too. Can lead or come from behind. Don’t disregard him at a price. Race 8 No. 3 Grass Patch and No. 4 Georgia Flash The 3 by far the fastest dog in the race. Only has to nail the start and her speed takes her to the arm and home. The 4 could provide early resistance. She will go better if she gets the lure to herself as well. First split decides this race. Race 9 No. 4 Honey Keeping and No. 3 Adventure Queen The 4 needs to begin better but if she does she can run the time to score. Box is ok and will get the fence quickly. The 3 will fire out here and could shock these if she finds herself in front. Hard to run down in that scenario. Good chances to both dogs. Race 10 No. 3 My Dream and No. 7 Quid Brother The 3 is the strong dog who races well here. If she stays close up the back, these won’t hold her off late. The 7 will dart across and his best chances are if he leads. Can get away up the back. Steady race but both can figure Race 11 No. 1 Daph’s Yak and No. 4 Bondi Monelli The 1 couldn’t have been more impressive first look here last week. Boxed to repeat and looks the one here. The 4 will dart out and she could cross but would need to. Getting a price to find out and worth a play EW. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 8 Kai Bale Forget last start. Put out of it at the start and never got into it. He’s better than that and will go close if he gets over much easier this time. Class runner. Race 6 No. 8 Len Me Dad and No. 2 Rixi Bale The 8 did enough last week at his first run for new kennel. Well boxed and will march down the outside for a forward spot and get home well. The 2 could show up early and she is very hard to get past when leading. Held off a very strong dog 2 starts back and can figure here. Race 9 No. 8 Hector Fawley He can beat this fav if he gets right behind him. If he doesn’t, the rest shouldn’t hold him out of 2nd so a top 2 play the obvious choice place heavy. Good race. Race 11 No. 2 Bahrose Smokie of the night. Can step and get up there and just keeps finding the line. Racing better than it looks and can stun these. Big price to take us out. Market Market
