CANNINGTON

Race 3 No. 9 Mr Clutch 

He might get the run here when the 7 comes out as it started last night. That brings him straight into this. Going super right now and can handle a wide draw as well. Good last start and has experience on this fav. 

Race 6 No. 3 Bazinga Boy

The step up is good here. Top win over the short trip last time but goes even better over longer for mine. Can show early dash and goes quick when given room. Steps well here and he’s the one to beat. 

Race 7 No. 4 Owl Pretty

She is actually going ok. Made good ground again last time and this is no harder. Will find the fence and work home solidly again and is a nice EW play at the odds. Don’t ignore her. 

Race 8 No. 1 My Dream

Another who is knocking on the door. Strong type who has won her only start off the red and will look to settle much closer here this time. Runs a good last section and hard to hold out EW again. 

Race 11 No. 1 Cashed Up Guess

Got it done for us last time and moves to the inside now. Went fast time here when leading throughout and a clean step sees him repeat the dose. Looks the one. 

GAWLER

Race 5 No. 4 Saint Candy and No. 6 Garry’s Chaos 

They met in a similar race last start. Looking for the 4 to step and try and lead again. She is racing well and will be there with a clear run. The 6 was disappointing but he’s much better than that. Only has to bring his best and he’s also a threat. A big one. 

Race 8 No. 3 Springvale Bray

Finally got him away from Angle Park. He will give this a big shake if he can offset the box and has a stack of talent. Runs home well and will start his work up the back. Has raced some very tough races early on and gets his chance here. 

Race 9 No. 4 Osprey Phantom

He did enough first up. Will find plenty from that and his better VIC form wins this. Still a price and if he replicated his last run into the back, expect him to run home much better this time. EW for him.
