Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 18, 2023June 18, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 7 Reed Time We know what we get with this one over this trip. Steady start, straight to the outside of dogs and sweeps around with a sustained run home. Plays for trouble which invariably happens in this grade over the track and trip so will get place heavy attention again. Race 4 No. 2 Commander Mack and No. 8 Space Station The 2 gets a good draw here and only needs that first 15m to accelerate. Musters hard and finds the top and when he does he’s not for catching. The 8 is the fastest and probably the best dog in the race and he gets a fair grade drop here but the box isn’t his friend. He’s good enough to overcome it if he turns up against these. Race 5 No. 1 Romneya Monelli Ran out of her skin again at $101 off box 8 last start when holding a solid run home after crossing. Gets a plumb draw now and a similar step will see her there throughout and close to winning. Great EW show. Race 6 No. 4 Ash The Flash She was excellent last start off box 2 when making a fast run through the back to run home for the win. Racing super right now and she will put herself there again and just keep coming. Hits top 2 with an ounce of luck and can win. Race 8 No. 3 All Spiked Up Still yet to win after 16 goes here and 9 attempts track and trip, but he seriously will never get a better chance than this. Has the map of the century here even if he misses it slightly which is his go and only needs to take the ensuing opening that will appear into the back. He’s better than these and this has to be it. EW all day and night. It will be disappointing if he doesn’t produce this time. Race 9 No. 8 Jumpin’ Jules Out where she needs to be in this. A bit going on near the fence early and she can punch up out wide and land close or cross. A few very suspect characters in this will give her every possible hope to score after a while out of the winners list. Race 10 No. 2 Bonbie Panther and No. 8 Liberty Pop The 2 is a big awkward galloper but he has a stack of talent and can muster very fast to the first turn. Handles the draw even though he races a few dogs off the inside. The 8 has been placed several times off the box and can spear down the outside here to put herself in it. Runs the time to win if she leads. Race 12 No. 3 Springview Angus and No. 7 Barefoot Wah Wah The 3 is a bird here if he gets half a look, and that’s all it will take against these. Was superb last start when missing by the narrowest of margins and will improve for that look. EW Frankie!!! The 7 is under rated and if she can again offset the wide draw, she will give a sight. Has some talent and a nice turn of foot. Start determines her chances as she needs to get over cleanly. The 4 has our attention, and 99% of it. Market Market
