Harry Buchanans Saturday Greyhound Tips Posted on March 18, 2023March 18, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 7 Rippin’ Tomahawk Great price for a dog who will show early dash and go close to crossing here. If he does he will take some catching. Has raced the top grade previous and while he is a few levels below the very top class, he is competitive and tries hard. Looks ready now to strike. Race 2 No. 5 West On Jilliby The Galaxy consolation and while she doesn’t win a lot, she is a super place heavy bet here. Stays all day and just keeps coming in a race full of dogs who are not genuine staying types. Will wind up strongly and launch late out wide. EW place bird with any luck. Race 4 No. 2 Kelsey Bale and No. 4 Quick Smart The 2 was superb in her heat and first look. She just wins here with any luck at all. Clearly the class runner who will take no end of stopping this week with the look under her belt. The 4 is racing brilliantly. Drawn in a little closer now and made up huge ground in his heat. Place heavy go for him but he can win if the fav finds any strife. He’s ready. Race 6 No. 5 Ariarne Bale and No. 8 Speed Freak The Galaxy final and the 5 was an enormous victory in her heat last week. Came from a mile back to storm home for an impressive win considering she had never seen the track. Only has to offset the box early and she’s a huge threat. The 8 is the best roughie. Can surprise here and hit the placings and will show dash. Sticks on well. 1 and 4 the other main threats in a tremendous Group 1 affair. Race 7 No. 1 Elite Machine and No. 4 Momentum The Perth Cup and facts and figures say the 1 only has to step and hold the arm. Has a superior middle section he unleashes and will take no end of stopping on the arm. The 4 would be some result after dropping back from the staying trip last week to win his heat. Not badly drawn here and can figure. Great race and looking forward to it. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 2 Trending Zari Gets a much better draw now and should be able to settle much closer. Poor draws have seen her give too much start away but she works home hard and if she’s close here will take all sorts of stopping late. Race 6 No. 3 Scofflaw Coming through the Horsham cup series but races much better here. Looks to lead and that’s where he does his best work and carves out time. Box ok and only has to step to drive up and take over early. Big show. Race 8 No. 6 Bruce’s Ruslie and No. 2 Greysynd Shock The 6 is much improved and continues to race well over this trip against decent dogs. Handles the wide draws on and will be prominent throughout. Can run time. The 2 is versatile and strong and will try and hunt up here. Sticks on well and while he can get wide, he can stay close enough to be in the finish. Race 11 No. 7 Jigglypuff Yep I know. She keeps finding easier races and keeps finding ways to get beat. Her run at Horsham was super though and may have sparked her up. Not sure where we go from here if she doesn’t hit the frame. Probably looking for 600 now but is more than good enough to beat these. Closes late. WENTWORTH PARK Race 5 No. 7 Punters Bandit Only 2 divs but smaller field and her barnstorming finish should see her close enough to launch late. Can reel off huge sectionals when she gets momentum and will look ominous if she’s chiming in at the top here. Race 6 No. 2 She’s A Pearl Odds on but looks back to her brilliant best. Temora cup win phenomenal and goes even better here as we all know. Really should spear out and put these to the sword from the get go. Her Egg campaign starts here. Race 7 No. 7 Came And Went Silly price and should be closer to Fav. Brilliant last week in very fast time and has terrific muster off the mat. Box is fine and will dash quickly to the first turn to try and take over. If he does, he wins. Won’t be caught again on the arm. Market Market
