Been getting back in her races and working home well so if she’s close this time she will hit top two at a price. Race 4 No. 3 Sher Zany and No. 7 Cawbourne Roses The 6 was poleaxed last week at the first turn and put completely out of business. Will again go forward and can surprise this time if left untouched. Stays well and a chance to hit the frame. As is the 7 who keeps racing well and will start a strong run up the back. Can also land close so she must be respected and kept safe. Race 6 No. 5 Hinto and No. 8 Carter Axelrod The Peter Thomas final. The 5 was enormous in his heat. Had no right to finish remotely close and made sustained ground through traffic to just miss behind a very lucky winner. The 8 was super for the new kennel and will likely get a nice cart to the first turn here. Stuck on surprisingly well and can show pace from time to time. Small EW spec there. Race 9 No. 2 Disco Trixie This has to be it. Good effort last time and will be incredibly disappointing if she finds herself beaten by these. Has a big middle and run home section and drawn to settle up there and put these away. Doesn’t need to lead and not a single excuse can be given here. Looks her time. Race 12 No. 6 West On Boonie Dominated last week in an almost arrogant display. Ran the clock hot and only has to repeat to win and comfortably. Fast dog. Just wins with a clear run and he should get that here. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 8 Wrangler Jane Ran another race at odds last week and can offer a similar effort here. Sticks on strongly and the wide draw poses very few issues. Will pass a few on the way home and can pass enough to hit the frame at odds. EW and place heavy. Race 3 No. 1 Ariarne Bale and No. 8 Kai Bale The 1 a star stayer who is struggling for her best. A step back to this middle trip and box 1 could be just what’s needed to ignite that spark. Great form track and trip and her best would win. The 8 will enjoy being back here over this distance. Will rush up early and he can mow most dogs down through the middle sections. In form and hard to beat. Race 4 No. 2 Warcraft and No. 8 War Time Novelty Bendigo to Meadow’s final and a couple of bolters here. The 2 was big in his heat and he’s drawn to get a lovely map on the fence here and will make his presence felt. Great EW price. The 8 will also get a look and he was beaten a short margin in a great heat run. Some good dogs around him in that and he was within a length and closing. Place heavy for him. Spec plays both. Race 5 No. 6 My Bonneville and No. 7 Kairi Bale The 6 back to the winners list last time and now back to his track. Loves being wide and loves this circuit and will push up and start a long and strong run home. Takes some stopping in this at a great price. The 7 is a blowout chance if she gets over and lands close. Has some talent and can work into this strongly to hit the frame with any luck at all. The 6 the main EW play though. Race 6 No. 5 Palawa King and No. 4 Fast Minardi The National Distance final. The 5, from NSW, gets the nod here. He had a little more tactical and middle race speed to put himself in front of Zoha Bale and that will see him take alot of running down. Super stayer and he can win. The Tassie rep in 4 is the huge smokie here. Has some wraps on him and he’s a front running stayer who will land up there and give a great sight. Could prove hard to catch. Zoha Bale, the local VIC rep, is a monster hope. Days of Thunder from QLD will flood home as usual in this, her final start. The 1,6 and 8 all need a miracle but the 8 could lead these from WA. If the 6 from NZ or 1 from SA win, it would be hard to fathom, the NSW dog in 7 needs to get over and see the arm quickly and awkwardly drawn. Selections: 5-4-3-2 Race 7 No. 7 Crackerjack Boom and No. 6 Zippy Tesla The 7 was tremendous last week. He can lead or come from behind and is starting to reel off good time when he steps out. Box won’t worry him. The 6 is a weapon and comes from anywhere with that trademark run of his. He only has to navigate a passage and he will take some stopping late. Both huge hopes. Race 8 No. 2 Saige Tenniele The National Sprint final. The WA gun is ready and she’s not here to go shopping. Has developed into a real contender lately and the penny dropped weeks ago. Has a devastating last section that few can hold out and while the VIC rep in 3, Postman Pat, looks the leader and the one to beat, he won’t want her tapping him on the shoulder because she CAN mow him down. Simply a matter of her getting there soon enough. The other VIC in 1 is a chance to hit exotics. The 5 from NSW, 6 from QLD and 9 from VIC all need the arm to win and luck behind them. The SA dog in 4 is a place smokie with his run home style and the Tassie dog in 7 looks a few classes below these albeit he did trial ok but is poorly drawn. The 2 is the bet here EW, place heavy and just needs luck. Great race to decide to National sprint champ. Selections: 2-3-1-4 Race 10 No. 5 Crackerjack Aret Back from a 600m run which is good. Has a big engine when clear and while he can be tardy early sometimes, he goes through the gears powerfully when wound up and this race sees him hard to stop if he is close. Sub 30 dog at his top and gets his chance to bounce back here. Race 11 No. 3 Smoke Show Huge run here last time and while the time was only fair, he made up many lengths to just go under. TAS dog who has raced at a variety of tracks with success and has a good strike rate W/P. Big quote but not out of this at all. Place heavy smokie of the night . WENTWORTH PARK Race 3 No. 4 Tangible Asset Promising dog who was excellent last start behind a flyer. Has good form through quality sprinters and can show pace or come from back. Great form track and trip and will be hard to stop here in this line up. Race 4 No. 3 Father Rick Down in the grades now and he’s the best dog in the race. Only has to bring his better form to dispatch these and has a touch of class over this field. Needs a good step off the 4 but that’s all that is stopping him getting the job done here. One to beat. Race 8 No. 7 Kingsbrae Demon Speed machine who has an electric turn of foot off the mat. Raced wide and and holds a constant high line but can get away here if he leads which he should. Been in some strong races and gets relief in company here and will look the winner at some stage. Market Market
