Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Tips Posted on January 16, 2023March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 5 Jumping Jazz Her form isn’t inspiring but she has run into much tougher races than this lately and her 5.50 best first split offsets this draw, leads and wins this. She is capable of spearing out and form can be turned around here. Race 5 No. 3 Napoleon Dynamo Monster hope, in rare form for the master blaster Pete Brown and can win again here. This fav in 2 has steady box manners, little early speed and has struggled with this corner start her only two attempts. He only has to beat it out and he quickly becomes the one to beat. Dog in 4 wants off instantly when the lids open so the map is set. Just needs to come out on terms. Race 7 No. 8 Shadow Lad Boxed to win. Musters hard and sustains it over this trip right through the line with a clear run. Better suited to this straight start and a clean getaway will see him get it done here. Massive chance here!! Race 8 No. 1 Saint Ruby and No. 3 Eclipsing Fun The start and early map decides the result here. All hinges on the 2 dog. He steps moderately to fair but gets off badly from the get go. The 1 is getting on but this fence will be lonely place if she holds her spot early. Still racing well and boxed to get every possible hope. Now the 3 does two things at box rise, misses it by a half length or spears out. Depending on which one turns up, she can quickly cross or go under the 2 before he does his damage. If she steps with him she’s in trouble. Priced to find out though and can run the time to win. ANGLE PARK Race 8 No. 3 Roxy Rover Big quote, should be, but can surprise. Best chance is to drop the fence instantly and wait for these wide runners to hop off first turn. She has a grinding run home without being booming but there is a question over some of these running the trip. Small EW go place heavy. Race 10 No. 5 Barefoot Rebel He can surprise these over this short trip. Has a little class on these in terms of who he has raced against and can show up early as well. If he’s left alone he will launch late from a close spot and be hard to stop. Don’t dismiss him here. Race 11 No. 8 Spring Cocktail She’s the best dog in the race and was good after missing the start last week. Got around dogs well which shows she can hold a wider line. Has better box manners than that and a repeat of that with a cleaner getaway sees her win. Race 12 No. 5 Slim Sherman He’s running out of chances but lands in an easy grade 5 for him and the company he’s faced recently are a lot better than these dogs. Has early dash and does his best work on the arm. Gets every chance to hold it here. Must produce. Market Market
