Race 5 No. 1 Platinum Kenzo

Better box this time, easier race and ready to strike here. Has talent the form guide currently doesn’t show and a clean step here should put this bloke on the arm quickly and very hard to run down. This is his chance. 

Race 7 No. 1 Prime Gold

Has a stinging record off Box 1, winning 4 from 4, meaning he’s weapons hot when he sits up in the cherry. This is a good race however so will need every bit of his inside box form to figure. In saying that, he is very talented and can run fast time when he’s out and trouble free. Will get his chance at EW odds. 

Race 8 No. 5 Roll With It and No. 7 Redshift Tango

Another competitive race. The 5 is a big price here and I thought his run was super last week. Went to make a fast wide run out of the pen into the back and was taken wide and checked. Would have finished much closer. The 7 will go fast to lead here and a she’s getting stronger. If she happens to get away on the arm she will be hard to catch here. 

Race 9 Nos. 2, 4 and 6

This is Northam’s first 721m this time round. 5 dogs for the Avon Valley Challenge, only 3 hopes on exposed staying form. The other two should really struggle at the distance. Box these few up in your quinellas, trifectas etc. should go close.

Race 10 No. 3 Zipping Wilbur and No. 2 Moruga Scorpion 

The 3 will go close to leading this week. Pushed up hard last week but copped a check when hitting the first turn which allowed dogs to get under him. Better map this time. Hard to catch. The 2 will improve and the small field will suit. Any trouble here will see her run on well and a possible top two player in this open affair. 

Race 11 No. 2 No Payout 

Sticking with May again off the good draw. Will drive up as usual probing for inside runs and while 17.5 pulls her up, that would be enough hit the frame here at a big quote. Don’t dismiss on a place heavy basis.
