Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 7, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 2 No. 7 Victim Of Desire Ready to win for the Queen of Northam May Leach. Superb run last time when placing 2nd behind Twisted Mansion and only has to repeat the effort to score in this company. Racing well and this is hers to lose. Race 4 No. 2 Barossa Rose Gets a lovely map here and just needs to hold her fence run through to the first turn. Knows the track backwards and runs the time to get it done here. Box 2 record very good and looks a huge show this time. Race 6 No. 2 Apollo Fun and No. 3 Entry Level As much as I have doubts about the 2 liking this track, this simply is as easy as it will ever get for him. He can’t go much lower and is better than these. If this was at Cannington he would be fav and clearly. The 3 also gets it as easy as he’s had it in some time. Musters up well and sustains the run home and will take all sorts of stopping in the last bit. Race 8 No. 6 Something Fun Tremendous effort last week for a dog way out of her grade. Began well and lost the middle section before rallying again late to just miss the placings. Can step again here and this is much easier and will give a great sight if she crosses here. EW go again. Race 9 No. 6 Kingsbrae Huxley Stepped up to the 500 last week and led a fair way before walking home and tiring badly. This is his go these days and while he will be a big price, don’t be surprised if he weaves through and descends on these and hits the frame. Place heavy go. Race 11 No. 2 Rona’s Rocket Here she is again, drawn to get that run she desperately looks for at the first turn. One of the better Northam railers you will see and keeps sustaining the run home hard and can again capitalise on wide running types here to hit the frame at odds. Place heavy for her too.
