Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on May 6, 2024May 6, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 8 Magic Entry Might sneak under the radar here. Ran some handy 500s at Cannington not long ago and showed good box manners and speed. Will look to rush down and take over before the first turn. Will be hard to beat if she does. Race 4 No. 6 Redshift Uniform/No. 4 Skye Monelli While the 4 will be long odds on, she would be far from a good thing if the 6 handles the track. She can stay and stay well. Regardless, they should run the quinella here. The 2 is the other smokie who could round out the tri. Race 5 No. 8 Stay Amused The 8 goes well here and she will look to dash down the outside and land real close first turn. Won most her races here and hard to beat. Race 6 No. 3 I’m Upstairs and No. 7 Aussie Primrose The 3 showed he’s close last week with a solid effort. Has been stepping well and he does his best work here and looks close to a win. EW at least again. As it will be for the 7 who was actually a little stiff last week. All but crossed and led but stuck on well and will again show speed to try and take the front. Smokies play again. Race 8 No. 2 High Level and No. 4 Notorious Harada The 2 gets a better draw this week and can track up early into a striking spot. Goes well here and will be prominent. The 4 has not been at her top but she is undefeated from her only 2 starts here and she will step fast as she usually does and could lead. Her best would win this. Race 9 No. 6 Charley’s Harley and No. 8 Ohana Ranadi The 6 is a reliable box dog who will appreciate this circuit. Can go fast off the mat and might take some catching. Easier company for the 8 will see her improve here. Has a good turn of speed when untouched and could surprise in this field. Don’t ignore her. Race 10 No. 8 Super Charge He went ok last week when running into it well up the back. Will take a lot of benefit from the look at the track. Should be an EW quote and will again run well with any first turn luck and sure to go better again this time. Race 11 No. 3 All Over Kaisha and No. 6 Polygon Monelli The 3 is the best smokie play of the day here. Her run was super last week here having no luck at all. Boxed better here and could get right there or lead and that would be it in this. The 6 was superb winning here last Monday and a repeat performance will go close to yielding a similar result. Hard to beat again. Race 12 No. 8 Escape Way and No. 2 After Show The 8 is resuming but has an unrivalled turn of foot that these can’t match when he’s on. A reliable beginner with a great record here, he only has to be primed near his best to give this a shake. Loves it here. The 2 is the class runner coming out of a feature win at Cannington. Another who has a ridiculous record here courtesy of her faultless box manners and early speed. She will be leading trying to hold the 8 out early if she steps her usual best. Market Market
