Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on May 3, 2024May 3, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 6 Hurry Henry and No. 7 Burner Flash This fav hard to beat off the red but she can dwell at box rise and there is speed here. The 6 is well drawn off the track and has a lot of talent. Can sweep into this quickly. The 7 lacks dash but any trouble will see him descend late and he does hit the line hard. Race 2 No. 1 Security Guard and No. 2 All Grunt Not a race we want to get into. Both of Corey’s dogs look well in all the same. The 1 is well drawn but hasn’t won for a while and the 2 was good at Cannington and will go better here with more distance. Maybe the 2 EW if he is double figures. Race 3 No. 1 Another James and No. 3 Taming The Tiger The 1 to go much better back over this shorter trip. Has good box manners and early dash and litter is flying for Ian Bunny. Hard to stop here. The 3 almost ran down the reds well performed kennel mate last week. Going really well for Kirsty and will give another good sight. Race 4 No. 8 Aztec Kid and No. 1 Solid Tank Max Julien has the team going super at the moment and this enigma scored well at Cannington last week off the inside. Needs to lead but can’t be caught when he does. Confidence booster last week. The 1 will be the one to go fast here. Does his best work on the arm and runs good time when he gets his own way. Looks hard to beat here. Race 5 No. 4 Outlaw McGraw and No. 6 Kingshott The 4 wasn’t suited last week over the 488. He still tried hard and ran a decent race considering. Will go much better here and could surprise. The 6 is one who does know how to surprise. Well drawn wide and can master up and sustain a good run home. Both EW prospects. Race 6 No. 1 Saige Tenniele and No. 5 Xylan Bale Well she had her last chance at Cannington last Saturday. This will be it at Mandurah for the 1. There will be no excuses here off the perfect draw. Her best would give these a thrashing. She will get every hope to show that best. The 5 will appreciate this distance and track. The 700 is a little bridge too far for him but this is his ideal trip. Will keep coming. It’s the reds final time however to show us she still wants to be there. Race 7 No. 2 Sunset Serengeti and No. 4 Wise Barra The Oaks final. The 2 was enormous in her heat. Regardless of the time, she shouldn’t have won but she did. Boxed perfectly here and won’t get buried back this time. Can even lead on her day but doesn’t have to. Huge show in this. The 4 is airborne and she is one who likes to get out and rolling in front. Running good time on the arm and will prove awfully hard to run down in this. The 2 is the bet with a save on 4 in this years Oaks. Race 8 No. 1 Our Benson and No. 7 Sunset Callisto Open affair. Looking for the 1 to step and hustle up to the arm here. Can run good time when leading and has been given a freshen up. The 7 knocked over Crumble Monelli last week and that win alone makes him hard to stop here. Has a formidable record track and trip and well drawn off the track. Will be in the finish. Race 9 No. 4 Curates Egg and No. 6 All About Rock The 4 was good winner over the shorter trip last week and he showed something I haven’t seen from him before. A step up in trip ideal and only the corner start has to be answered for him to score again. The 6 is a big strong boy who works home hard in these races. Has gone fast time and will start his run up the back and sustain it home. Worth thought. THE GARDENS Race 7 No. 3 Has Ability Race 8 No. 8 Zipping Whiskey and No. 6 I’ll See Race 9 No. 7 Canya Amy, No. 6 Like Wildfire, No. 8 Raiders Guide Market Market
