Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 4, 2022August 4, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 6 No. 4 Westdale Hailee and No. 6 Dancing Fun The 4 goes fast and this is her grade. Will get her chance to pounce on the arm early and that will make her incredibly hard to stop. The 6 bobs up in these races and her draw isn’t terrible here. If she gets clear running she will hit the line hard. Race 8 No. 3 Izuku A repeat of last weeks effort will see him very hard to stop here. Began better than usual then put them to the sword quickly. Reeled off good time and draw is good here. Looks the one again. Race 10 No. 5 My My My and No. 6 No Ideas The 5 only needs to offset the box here to be in the finish. She is racing well and this isn’t hard. The 6 has good box manners and can go fast here. Has raced much tougher races and if she leads this time will be very hard to run down. SANDOWN PARK Race 2 No. 7 Chic Heat 1 of the VIC National sprint. There is every chance she can cross these favs and she will be hard to catch if she does. Been racing over the middle trip but versatile and ultra consistent. Will go quick here and top 2 player. Race 3 No. 8 Photo Man and No. 5 Propelled 2nd heat of the sprint. The 8 is back from a successful QLD campaign. Well boxed, runs time and has super form here. Can win. The 5 is a big boy who can take a few to get into it but is very strong and when his momentum is up, he is hard to stop. Sneaky EW hope at the odds. Race 4 No. 3 Revolution and No. 7 He’s No Slouch Heat 3 of the sprint. The 3 copped all sorts of trouble before finally getting the arm last week but Zippy Tesla got right there and that was too much to ask any dog to hold him out. Can step better here and lead all the way. The 7 should not be dismissed. Massive effort last week and he is incredibly under rated. Goes fast mid race and can shock these. Race 5 No. 4 Zippy Tesla and No. 1 Call Me Buster The 4th and final heat. The 4 returned from a let up last week with a barnstorming win over Revolution. Will again track the speed up here and unleash his familiar run home. The 1 is the blow out here. He’s got his box and don’t dismiss him here because if he slides up the fence early, he can run into this late and it not be a shock. Race 6 No. 3 Stout Monelli Interesting race. The 3 made a statement at his first long distance attempt. Went to the front and ran them along in good time. He can do that again and put these under pressure long way out. There are couple in this at odds who can run races and at least place. Possible exotic race this with 1, 4, 7, 8 all chances to run a hole. Race 8 No. 8 Jigglypuff and No. 7 Keen The 8 is well drawn here. She has actually run some good races since stepping up and she can spear over here and stick on well. Great EW play. The 7 is a QLD visitor who has a big engine and while he can be awkward, he can unleash some big sections and shouldn’t be dismissed. Has joined a good kennel here. Race 9 No. 5 Jemima Rocks Only has to offset this box to continue her ultra consistent form at this track. Has a fast win for this class here and is versatile in the run. Silly EW price and can’t be ignored. Race 10 No. 7 Dunwerkin Stunned is the only way to describe this dogs price. Has been completely disrespected in the market which is very risky for a dog who was tragically unlucky in a heat of the Maturity two starts ago then zero luck when again placed in a heat of the Warragul St Leger last week. Has a monster run home when he gets mobile and while he needs first turn luck with his lack of early speed, he can slide over behind the pace here early and look for the fence. With his record here and ability to run superb late fractions, it makes him a great EW play. Race 12 No. 1 Specialty Boxed to go seriously close here. Has all sorts of ability and his last two have been huge efforts behind class dogs. Can be a little tardy early but musters up and runs time when he gets the running. Inside draw critical and one of the better plays tonight. Even getting EW odds to find out as he shouldn’t miss a place with any luck at all and wins with clear running. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 4 Fantastic Dixie Phenomenal run last week when she had no right to finish where she did. Gifted talent who only has to begin better this time to get the job done. Will run time if she leads. Race 4 No. 4 Zipping Chew Former Victorian who has the form lines to put these under pressure first up. Gets into his work through the middle and late sections and will look threatening with any luck at all. Race 5 No. 6 Runaway Lad and No. 1 On The Tequila Heat 1 of the National Sprint for SA. A couple here at odds who shouldn’t be. The 6 ran superbly last week after being heavily backed. Gets a good map here and can repeat. We will back up on him again. The 1 also got the money last week and we will give another go off the inside at big odds. She can actually run time when she’s on and while she is enigmatic, if she found the front at any stage they won’t catch her. Small EW specs on both here. Race 6 No. 2 Fly For Trix and No. 3 Captain Larry 2nd and last heat and the 2 is rating at least 2.5 points overs on a +5 percent market and that makes him a bet. He will muster up here early and land close and he is racing as well as ever. The 3 is stepping up to open company here for the first time but if his Mount runs are any indicator, he will give these plenty. High talent who runs fast time and is strong. Don’t dismiss. Race 7 No. 4 Whiskey Soda She looks a graded bird here. Only has to offset the box and land handy to unleash that run home of hers and get over these. Gave an arm dog too much start last week and has a class edge on this field. Looks the one. Race 9 No. 4 Woodside Brockie Underrated type with a great turn of foot. Will go fast and while he has a little flat spot up the back, the small field will assist in getting through that and smashing the line again. Top 2 charge here and looks the goods for the upset. Race 10 No. 4 Weblec Whirl and No. 5 Straight Blaze The 4 is just a good consistent performer who is adept at all distances and likes it here. Great run last time and drops a grade now. Will look ominous with clear running. The 5 is a smoky and while he will be a huge quote, he is worth a small EW spec as he runs on and can get into these types of races. Race 11 No. 7 Wizardry Things Has a formula I highly rate and that’s stepping back from the middle trip to the sprint. Can be hit or miss at box rise but runs on from the back if he does miss it anyway. Small field and the fact there are only three legitimate chances means he gets a top two play to take us out.
