Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 2, 2022July 6, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 4 Glorious Gunn Looks pitched in here and her form suggests this is her race. Led up before being nabbed by Hinto last week. That simply wins this with a repeat. Best chance. Race 3 No. 4 Bionic Polly There aren’t many races left for her to be given chances in but this is winnable. Blew her chances at Mandurah 2 back with a poor decision turning before being getting out of her ground last week and working home ok. Place heavy here. Race 5 No. 4 Throttle He’s drops in trip to 520m and it will be back to “weapons hot” for this rocket launcher tonight!!! A future megastar of WA greyhound racing if they keep him to the sprint trip, he only has to navigate a clear run and the kennel mate in 2 to ice these like an igloo. Didn’t handle the corner starts of the 600m in the Paradise Street but still put up 2 huge efforts while not really being comfortable. He’s short enough but he’s far too good to bet against. If he finds that arm early, he will scorch this sand to glass. Let’s hope he gets his chance to put on a show. Race 6 No. 6 West On Fizz and No. 7 No Limit Needed The 6 is now starting to show her true ability and she was good last start in steady time. Can improve again and will give a sight here. The 7 is a kennel mate to Throttle and Hinto and while she isn’t in their league, her form shows she has plenty of her own talent. Last start was sublime and her early pace can again set her up for victory. Race 7 No. 7 Yahoo Serious and No. 1 Painkiller Love the step back to 520m for the 7 here. Can punch up out wide early and if he lands in that forward spot, will take a mountain of stopping. The 1 can surprise at odds. Showed a good turn of foot last start and has the box to hold the arm here and will find more again. Both dogs can run races here. Race 11 No. 6 Over Zealous Will be the outsider of the five dog field but shouldn’t be. Didn’t quite get the 700 last start but made another fast mid race run which suggests she can go well back over this trip. Doesn’t win many but is racing over a distance where her true form can start to yield some victories. Top 2 player here. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 4 Shanlyn Hunter 2nd up form a spell and has some ability when he’s right. Strong type who runs on hard when he gets momentum up and this isn’t a tough assignment. A couple of 650m wins will see him there at the end of this with a clear run after being placed 4 from 5 here. EW go. Race 8 No. 4 Dusty Bourbski Top effort at Sandown last week but clearly reserves his best for here. Runs time when clear and has a big middle and last section. Map doesn’t look too bad here and only has to land in a prominent spot early to be a force. Race 9 No. 4 Indy Honey Chopped off 3 times before the back straight last start and the bird had flown. Her effort to run home was superb and she should have finished much closer. Can run time when she spears out but can also come off the arm. Massive hope here and best bet at a huge EW quote. Race 10 No. 1 Distinguish Boxed to go very close here. Has superior muster and is a 15 time winner who has raced some very smart dogs. Was good here 2 back and looks the one to beat off the gun draw. WENTWORTH PARK Race 8 No. 2 Red Reactor Victorian visitor with a stack of ability. Has raced in some high quality features back home and come from tough spots to win. Well boxed and only has to track the 3 up here to be too strong late. First look but can win. Race 9 No. 1 Fernando Hunter If he doesn’t win this then he’s done for mine. Boxed to waltz in here. Goes fast up the back but really should hold the arm from the get go. The fastest dog in the race by panels and will have zero excuses here. Race 10 No. 1 Spring Patriot Huge effort last start to blaze home late and just go under. Boxed to get a better run here and if he secures that clear run, will justify the short quote. Best bet!!
