RACE 3 No.4 Impending

First of two good bets tomorrow from the Godolphin yard. This one has only had the single start for an impressive Rosehill victory last month when very strong to the line over the 1100m trip. Up to 1200m tomorrow will suit perfectly and he’ll gain a perfect run in the race for jockey James McDonald. Looks head and shoulders above his opposition.

RACE 5 No.6 Miss Cover Girl

Kelly Schweida trained mare who returns from a break tomorrow and looks to have found a very suitable first up assignment. She should park in the first half dozen from the good draw and will only need some clear running in the straight to get her chance to run the leaders down with her big finish. She is very effective fresh and holds a good record here on the Gold Coast track. Great each-way value.

RACE 7 No.2 Hauraki

The second of the Godolphin runners fancied tomorrow in the feature race at weight for age level. Chased home Winx and The United States on consecutive occasions before just not quite at his best on the soft 5 surface when unplaced in the Queen Elizabeth last time out. Freshened up, back to 1800m and back on dry ground he’ll give these plenty to think about!
