Race 1

BENOA BAY (6) was impressive in his win and placing in the only two runs to date, he looks to be above average and closed off with a blistering quarter, looks hard to beat again here. FORE SHORE (1) looks to have ability and has the nice draw, and the trials suggest he will go well here. PIP OFF (2) is a place chance but looks a distinct drop away from the top 2 chances and THE SEA COMMANDER (4) is a top 4 player, has shown some promise.

Suggested Bet: BENOA BAY/FORE SHORE to Quinella.

Race 2

MAJESTIC LINE (4) looks suited off the front row in a standing start, is getting closer to breaking through and looks hard to beat in this. BEE BEE BEROC (7) is knocking on the door, can be hit and miss but times and form are strong enough, 50m still won’t be an easy task. SUFFERAN SUFFERALL (2) is on debut and could run a decent race, looks a decent novelty chance. COL DU GRANON (6) goes back to 40m and seems to the better racing in the stands. SELLUNE (9) a novelty chance off the 60m.

Suggested Bet: MAJESTIC LINE (4) to win.

Race 3

WINTER SURGE (4) looks a nice type, speedy type on debut and has the draw advantage over some of the main rivals in the race. LIVY ANN (5) should find this more suitable class wise and was driven positively last time out. ARMAFLIGHT (2) has the nice draw and has shown enough to be around the mark, first run for the new stable. TRICKY TEXAS (7) faces a tricky draw but has been impressive in both runs to date from awkward runs, defying the map. TEXAS STORM (9) will run on, and FIRTH OF CLYDE (8) is a novelty chance but is following out one of the roughies.

Suggested Bet: WINTER SURGE (4) to win.

Race 4

CAPTAIN STIRLING (6) returns and produced one of the great runs two starts ago in the WA Derby, looks like he will be short in this race but should get the win and justify the short quote. LUZIA (2) has the early speed to lead and would likely expect this horse to wait for the favourite and be in the money as he can sit on speed well. SOUTH SIDE STORY (8) has a tricky draw to work with but has been promising since coming to the west. GLOBAL HERITAGE (1) is a top 4 chance from the draw with stable mate REDDY TO FLY (10).

Tips: 6 2 8 1

Suggested Bet: LUZIA (2) to place.

Race 5

CATCH THE RED EYE (4) was strong in her return victory, has got early speed and likely to be on speed again and if anything should improve off the first up win. REPOSSESSION (3) made some decent ground last time out and performed well, better draw and should be close to the speed here. APOLOGIZE (5) has come back well, speedy type and should settle close enough. LUKE ATTACK (6) racing well but will have to the work again today. GEARSINAWHIRL (1) is a top 4 player due to the draw, MADAM MAGGIE (8) needs the splits at the right time, could be one spot too far back. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (10) will run home.

Tips: 4 3 5 6

Suggested Bet: CATCH THE RED EYE (4) to win.

Race 6

Open race. Plenty of speed off the front row here, don’t think they can get around BRODIE BOY (1) who should lead and run well up to the middle distance and will have some challenges up the home straight late on the run home. RAJAH ROCKS (8) was a big run last time out and is ideally drawn, could get a good look at them and be dangerous. CEE DEE THREE (7) is ready to run well, he hasn’t been far away in recent runs and likely to be in the money. SYNCHRONIZER (2) is consistent, drawn well and looks a chance with MAJIC BAY (3) and ERA (4).

Tips: 8 1 7 2

Suggested Bet: RAJAH ROCKS (8) each way.

Race 7

FULL SWING DENARIO (6) is a nice type on return and expecting him to run well here, he did good things last time in and think he’ll improve further coming into this preparation, few ways he can go about trying to win this race and think he goes close. FINAL COLLECT (7) is dropping in grade and has taken on some talented types in recent runs, just a tough draw to overcome. SISTER CHERIE (1) has options from the nice draw and looks to improve off the first up effort. INFINITE SIGN (8) is a good pegs type and should get a good run and be running on strongly. SWIZZLESTICK (9) and DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (2) both racing well enough to get into the novelties.

Suggested Bet: FULL SWING DENARIO (6) to win.

Race 8

MONEY WELL SPENT (5) has some early speed and has shown promise since returning, he is first up for the new stable and looks a significant player in this. GELSOMINO AMAL (10) was a good run last effort and Delightful Peg has gone on to win again so the form line is strong, she isn’t a prolific winner, but she will look threatening. MISS UNEEK (11) is suited to the grade and closed off well last start, needs a touch of tempo to suit her but she’s not far away from breaking through. HEAD OFFICE (2) a novelty chance from the decent draw, early speed is just sound.

Suggested Bet: MONEY WELL SPENT (5) to win.

Race 9

LUCKY COPY (4) returned with a big win, has brilliant gate speed and looks the leader and on the first up run, looks the winner. SAMMY SUFFARELL (6) was unlucky last time out, has come back well and looks a strong chance with even luck. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (1) has a nice draw and early speed, good place chance. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (8) a novelty chance with the draw and should see RONALD SCOTT (11) moving into it strongly at some stage with novelty chance to ROCKIN LE MONDE (10).
