Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 30, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS SAN SIMEON QUALIFYING HEAT 3 REAZA GRUNTER (1) was impressive in winning in 1.52.3 at Menangle and was fancied at his WA debut but did things wrong and was retired from the event. He has since trialled nicely and gets his chance to bounce back. WALKINSHAW (4) won four of his previous five starts before having a tough run here last Friday and must be considered. BETTOR BE LIVELY (5) started favourite and was looking for clear running when checked last week and should be thereabouts. KERRIN JOSEPH (2) could be a big improver from the draw. Tips: 1 4 5 2 Suggested Bet: REAZA GRUNTER (1) to win. Race 2: SKY RACING DRIVERS SERIES HEAT 1 MS PACE OHOKA DARCY (7) has recorded strong wins at his last two starts, facing the breeze in both. This looks slightly harder but he can be driven aggressively again and should give a great sight. BRONZE SEEKER (8) has finished midfield at his last four starts but this is a drop in class and he will be finishing strongly. ABRAXAS BLUES (3) has also been tackling stronger company and is nicely drawn. BAD ROUND (1) looks the leader and did record an all the way win here two starts so must be considered. Tips: 7 8 3 1 Suggested Bet: BRONZE SEEKER (8) each way. Race 3: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS DRIVERS SERIES HEAT 2 EDEN FRANCO (1) led throughout to win six on end in slick time before settling back in the field and failing to make any ground behind Ameretto last week. She drops considerably in grade and is drawn to lead and is clearly the one to beat. ACE BROMAC (6) has won four of his seven starts and was held up badly at his last start. He has untapped potential and looks the only danger. MADAME LEILAND (2) has won three of her last four and has the draw to overcome the rise in class. MIGHTY MAJOR (10) looks a great place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 6 2 10 Suggested Bet: EDEN FRANCO (1) to win. Race 4: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 7 CHICAGO BULL (1) led throughout to record a comfortable heat win on Night One before being held up but flashing home in a lightning last quarter when 3rd to Soho Tribeca. He is drawn to lead and will be extremely hard to beat. TIGER TARA (6) sat outside Lennytheshark when a great 2nd to him before leading throughout to beat Lazarus in a track record on Night Two and is the obvious danger. SHANDALE (5) was a brave 4th on Night Two after facing the breeze and needs points to book his spot in the final. MAJORDAN (2) is a place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 6 5 2 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (1) to win. Race 5: PARLIAMENTARIANS CUP MS PACE A PICCADILLY PRINCESS (2) disappointed in the NZ Cup behind Lazarus but hit the line nicely when 5th to Ameretto here last week. She is better drawn tonight and can turn the tables. AMARETTO (7) has won eight of her last nine starts, with the defeat being a fast finishing 2nd to Lennytheshark in the Victoria Cup. She disposed of a similar field here last week but may be forced to fight for it tonight. IDEAL ALICE (1) took the sit on AMERETTO (7) when 2nd to her last week and should be in the finish again. SARAH GOODY (10) looks a place chance from the draw. Tips: 2 7 1 10 Suggested Bet: A PICCADILLY PRINCESS (2) to win. Race 6: RETRAVISION INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 8 SOHO TRIBECA (9) has been ultra-impressive in leading throughout to be the only undefeated pacer in the series thus far. He is in for a much sterner test from this barrier but can’t be underestimated. SAN CARLO (1) showed what the boom was about when he worked hard but battled on well to finish 3rd in the fastest heat on Tuesday. He gets his chance to take up his favoured front running role and will give them something to catch. LENNYTHESHARK (7) disappointed when beaten as a short priced favourite on Tuesday but can’t be overlooked. DEVENDRA (3) is a place chance again. Tips: 9 1 7 3 Suggested Bet: SOHO TRIBECA (9) to win. SuperPick - Race 6 no. 9 SOHO TRIBECA - Money Back Race 7: WESTRAL 4YO CHAMPIONSHIP ROCK DIAMONDS (1) started at big odds but worked hard early and battled on well to finish 3rd to Ultimate Machete here last week. He should get a soft lead and will be hard to catch. MOTU METEOR (10) only finished 6th but ran on well out wide in the same race at his WA debut. He is drawn to get a nice run and can win with any luck in the final lap. SPACE JUNK (2) is undefeated in three runs since crossing the Nullabor and is ready for this rise in class. IM ROCKARIA (11) was held up last week and could be an improver tonight. Tips: 1 10 2 11 Suggested Bet: MOTU METEOR (10) each way. Race 8: PRINCI BUTCHERS INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 9 LAZARUS (7) has finished 2nd in both of his heats but has lost no admirers, particularly after his effort on Tuesday night in track record time. This is the easiest heat of the night and he should notch up a victory and make a statement. GALACTIC STAR (2) was gallant on Night One before upsetting Lennytheshark on Tuesday and is the obvious 2nd pick. EGODAN (1) finished 2nd to Chicago Bull on Night One from this draw and can be placed again. OHOKA PUNTER (3) ran an improved race on Tuesday and could be in the money at odds. Tips: 7 2 1 3 Suggested Bet: LAZARUS (7) to win. RACE 9: WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALE BINSHAW QUALIFYING HEAT 3 LIVURA (5) has been costly for followers and finished worse than midfield after doing too much work last week. This field is similar and he can bounce back with a better trip. THEREUGO (12) finished down the track at his first run back from a spell in the same race but will strip a lot fitter for that effort. FERNLEIGH REBEL (4) led throughout three starts back and just missed last week and might find the front here. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (1) has been running great races at big odds and is better drawn tonight. Tips: 5 12 4 1 SUGGESTED BET: LIVURA (5) to win. RACE 10: DIRECT TRADES SUPPLY MS PACE AMERICAN BOY (3) faced the breeze when a strong 2nd to ZACH MAGUIRE (7) before taking up the same position when beating CONDRIEU (1) and SOKYS BIGBULLET (2) on Tuesday. He will probably have to breeze again but is in top form. ZACH MAGUIRE (7) is flying and there is no reason why he can’t repeat his last start win. CONDRIEU (1) led when bloused out by AMERICAN BOY (3) on Tuesday and gets his chance to lead again. SOKYS BIGBULLETT (2) was 3rd in the same race and won’t be far away again. Tips: 3 7 1 2 SUGGESTED BET: AMERICAN BOY (3) to win. Bet Now
