Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on August 10, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 3 No.4 Island Missile Probably last chance for this one however the key might just be the fact he’s stepping up in distance. He’d found the line strongly at successive 1400m starts before although not far away last Saturday again over 1400m he didn’t quite show the same zip late. Just get the feeling he had one 1400m run too many and is much better placed out to the longer 1500m trip tomorrow. RACE 8 No.1 Prized Icon Class runner of the field who although yet to win whilst fresh faces far inferior opposition than he usually finds himself up against. His first up outings at his last three preps have been all close up efforts in Group and Listed races and he was competitive against the likes of Winx and Comin’ Through last campaign. He won’t be fully wound up tomorrow however at better than an each-way quote he does appear good value. RACE 9 No.8 Prioritise Quietly confident about this one’s chances at Randwick last Saturday and he looked like being right in the finish until running into a wall of trouble near the 200m. That was the end of any hope he had with jockey Michael Murphy not doing much from then on. There’s a couple of nice types in this race however at the good odds available once again I’ll stick with him on an each-way basis.
