Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on September 18, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.15 It’s Me Unbeaten mare from the Brett Cavanough yard who has really impressed at both starts to date. Dominant at Scone she then came straight to town to tackle a Highway race here in August. Settling off the pace she was brought to the outside once into the straight unleashing a devastating sprint to go home right over the top of her rivals. Times backed that up as she ran the fastest 800/600/400/200m splits of the entire meeting. Clearly destined for better! RACE 4 No.3 Hungry Heart Looks a match race between this one from the Waller yard and Dame Giselle from the Snowden camp who again go head to head after filling the quinella spots in the Furious Stakes. I’m leaning to this filly who charged at Dame Giselle late however ran out of time and ground. Second up tomorrow she’s fitter and will appreciate the additional 200m. RACE 9 No.10 Icebath Busting to win a race this prep and gets her chance to break through tomorrow. Solid effort first up when not far away before held up for just too long in the straight last time out at Randwick closing off strongly behind Cristal Breeze. The step to 1400m looks ideal and she draws a gate which should have her in touch. Looks good each-way value. Quaddie 1, 2, 6 1, 2, 3, 8 1, 6, 9, 14 9, 10, 16 Market Market
