Race 2 No.5 Prague

Yet another top quality youngster from the Maher/Eustace camp, there’s a heap of them going around at present. This one who cost 1.6 million looked the goods winning on debut at Canterbury recently and note the trial prior he ran a tidy second to Rulership who came out and won with plenty of authority last Saturday here at Randwick. Likely to have improved further which is a definite worry for his opposition.

Race 4 No.5 Romani Girl

Yes she got to the right part of the track at the Gold Coast on Millions Day when flashing home late into 3rd spot behind Invincibella. However that followed a similar performance at Randwick the start prior when resuming from a short break. The step up in trip and small field should hopefully see her closer to the leaders in the run, if so she’ll be all over the top of them late!

Race 9 No.12 Lashes

In form mare who although facing a tougher task than she’s been set in the past looks well up to the challenge and drops considerably in weight (4.5kg) which is going to certainly help her chances of doing so. There looks to be good speed engaged in the race and she should be able to park behind awaiting her shot at them in the straight, no reason she can’t make it 3 from 3 this prep.
