The Scout: EPL Matchday 25 Posted on January 31, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Leicester City vs Chelsea Leicester have lost four of their last eight Premier League matches but remain 3rd on the League table, 14 points clear Manchester United in 5th. Chelsea (4th) have also been in a slump, losing six of their last 12 Premier League matches, but like Leicester, have held their position on the table thanks to the poor form of the teams below them. At home this season, Leicester are averaging two goals per game with two-thirds of these games seeing three goals or more. Chelsea meanwhile have conceded 20 of their 32 goals on the road with a staggering 75% of their total games resulting in three goals or more. The Foxes have only lost twice at home this season and I expect them to get the job done again here in what shapes as a high scoring affair. Suggested Bet: Leicester City Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ $3.40* Newcastle United vs Norwich City Norwich’s return to the Premier League has been a rocky path. The canaries sit dead last on the table, and have an almighty fight on their hands to avoid relegation. A win for Newcastle (14th) here could see them surge into the top half of the table, an outcome they should feel confident about having won three of their last five home fixtures. Norwich have only managed six goals in 12 matches on the road and have just the one win in their last 11 Premier League Matches. Newcastle scrapped their way to a 1-0 home win against Chelsea in mid-January (their last home match) and should be finding this assignment much, much easier. Suggested Bet: Match Result Newcastle @ $2.20* Tottenham vs Manchester City The Harry Kane-less Spurs have slipped to 6th and take on a Manchester City (2nd) side that have all but conceded defeat in their chase for another League title. Part of the intrigue here will be the sideline battle between managers Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho. Although poor form and injury has crippled Tottenham, it would be unwise to write them off as Mourinho always can surprise with his tactics. Kane’s absence has left a major hole in the Spurs’ lineup, with Heung Min Son used most recently as their focal point up front and most aggressive goal scoring threat. The move has been a success with Son scoring in back to back games – once in the FA Cup, and in their win over Norwich. Away from home, Manchester City have conceded 15 goals, keeping just four clean sheets in 12 matches. The Citizen’s might be too strong here, but I think Son is a great chance to continue his goal scoring form. Suggested Bet: Heung Min Son Anytime Goalscorer @ $3.20* *Odds correct as at 11am, 31st January 2020. Market Market
