Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on March 18, 2021March 18, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.2 Chico Milagro Looks a great way to kick off a big afternoon of racing. Messed up the start when first up here 5 weeks back behind stablemate Leadership Spill closing strongly into 3rd position late over 1050m. The step up to 1200m tomorrow is ideal & he has raced well on this track in the past which is another positive. Well drawn & should be winning! RACE 6 No.5 Joymaker Not sure where to next if unable to win tomorrow. Her past couple here have been fast finishing over the 1800m range going down narrowly on each occasion. 2200m is ideal for her now & keep in mind she has won over the trip here at Eagle Farm in good fashion. Michael Rodd replaces Jim Byrne who is riding at Rosehill & he can boot her home a winner! RACE 7 No.4 Golly Hutt No big odds however still at a good price for a horse ready to win. Terrific performance last start behind the smart Wren’s Day when racing 3 deep without any cover throughout. He pushed on closer to the turn cornering within striking distance however was unable to go with the winner late. Jimmy Orman jumps on board tomorrow & from a good gate will give him every chance. Quaddie 5 4, 1, 13 1, 8, 12, 16, 15 7, 3, 11 Market Market
