RACE 2 No.7 Humbolt Current

One of the many Chris Waller trained stayers sent up from down south in recent times. Really liked his win here last time out when easily accounting for his opposition even with the steadier of 60kg on his back. He rises from restricted to open grade which I’m confident won’t be a problem, the bonus is the 3.5kg weight drop which is a huge positive.

RACE 4 No.9 Bleu Zebra

Cracking filly from the Tony Gollan stable who brought her outstanding barrier trial form to the track on debut winning with ease at the Sunshine Coast. As expected she showed all her natural speed going straight to the front, from there she controlled the race and never looking like being beaten. Yes she faces tougher opposition tomorrow however drawn to lead again expect a similar result.

RACE 6 No.14 Euro Belle

Super consistent local mare from the Gillian Heinrich stable who gets her chance to win again tomorrow. She split the prize with the smart Quantico two starts back here before chasing home the in-form Stuttering at Ipswich after being held up in the straight. Under the plate conditions of the race she gets in very well at the weights and should get the right run from a perfect draw.
