Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 31, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.7 Kordia No flash odds about this first up winner from the Godolphin yard who looks set to make it 2 from 3 this prep. He just gave away too much start last time out before motoring to the line late at was his first racetrack defeat. The smaller field tomorrow suits, he won’t be giving away nearly as much start and looks the best of the day. RACE 5 No.8 Derbari Terrific effort up on the speed last time out when narrowly beaten by Zourhea on the Kensington track. They meet in this race once again tomorrow with Derbari scoring a 4kg weight turnaround with the 3kg claim. He gets through the wet ground well and looks very hard to beat. RACE 7 No.4 Black Magnum Anyone who followed us and backed this one first up on the Kensington track a couple of weeks ago likely still hasn’t recovered. A win tomorrow will certainly help and I can’t see any reason to jump ship. He was desperately unlucky on that occasion when unable to score clear running. He can make amends.
