RACE 5 NO. 7 MATERIAL MAN

MATERIAL MAN was heavily supported on debut at Narrogin and he didn’t let his backers down producing an effortless win. The rise to 1400m looks ideal ad he is drawn to get the run of the race from barrier 1.

RACE 7 NO. 1 SHOWY CHLOE

SHOWY CHLOE was huge first-up when she went out at a frenetic tempo and left vulnerable to over the final 100m. The engagement of Pike is a big plus and she should be able to lead or control the race from the breeze. She’ll take plenty of running down.

RACE 8 NO. 7 BATTLE HERO

This is a terrific running of the $120,000 APH CONTRACTORS BUNBURY STAKES. BATTLE HERO resumes from a spell with the benefit of a soft trial win. He was a big first-up winner last campaign and went on to compete in some of the state’s biggest races over the summer. He gets in with a luxury weight of 54kg and should be able to settle close to the speed and give a strong kick home.
