Best EPL Special Ever? Posted on August 9, 2017August 9, 2017 | Posted by David Shortte For weeks 1 and 2 of the English Premier League TABtouch are offering what can only be described as a deal too good to refuse for their account customers. On selected matches if your side scores a goal at any stage of the match but go on to lose or draw it’s Money Back up to $50 (T&C’s apply). I have gone back and listed the results of the first 4 weeks of the English Premier League from last season to give a guide of how the special would have played out if it were functional last season. EPL Week 1 2016-17 Hull 2 defeated Leicester 1 Southampton 1 drew with Watford 1 Middlesbrough 1 drew with Stoke 1 Everton 1 drew with Tottenham 1 Crystal Palace 0 lost to West Bromwich 1 Burnley 0 lost to Swansea 1 Manchester City 2 defeated Sunderland 1 Bournemouth 1 lost to Manchester United 3 Arsenal 3 lost to Liverpool 4 Chelsea 2 defeated West Ham 1 7 Results 3 Draws 2/20 sides did not score EPL Week 2 2016-17 Manchester United 2 defeated Southampton 0 Stoke 1 lost to Manchester City 4 West Bromwich 1 lost to Everton 2 Watford 1 lost to Chelsea 2 Tottenham 1 defeated Crystal Palace 0 Swansea 0 lost to Hull 2 Burnley 2 defeated Liverpool 0 Leicester 0 drew with Arsenal 0 Sunderland 1 lost to Middlesbrough 2 West Ham 1 defeated Bournemouth 0 9 Results 1 Draw 7/20 sides did not score EPL Week 3 2016-17 Tottenham 1 drew with Liverpool 1 Watford 1 lost to Arsenal 3 Southampton 1 drew with Sunderland 1 Leicester 2 defeated Swansea 1 Everton 1 defeated Stoke 0 Crystal Palace 1 drew with Bournemouth 1 Chelsea 3 defeated Burnley 0 Hull 0 lost to Manchester United 1 West Bromwich 0 drew with Middlesbrough 0 Manchester City 3 defeated West Ham 1 6 Results 4 Draws 5/20 sides did not score EPL Round 4 2016-17 Manchester United 1 lost to Manchester City 2 West Ham 2 lost to Watford 4 Stoke 0 lost to Tottenham 4 Middlesbrough 1 lost to Crystal Palace 2 Burnley 1 drew with Hull 1 Bournemouth 1 defeated West Bromwich 0 Arsenal 2 defeat Southampton 1 Liverpool 4 defeated Leicester 1 Swansea 2 drew with Chelsea 2 Sunderland 0 lost to Everton $3 8 Results 2 Draws 3/20 sides did not score. In the first week just 2 sides out of 20 failed to score while over the larger sample size of 4 weeks, 17 times out of a possible 80 did a team not score. Broken down on week one you could’ve backed any 18 of the first 20 options and been in line for the worst case scenario being a refund. Over the first month the percentage of sides per round not scoring was just 21% – again the odds were quite good as far as qualifying for at the very least a refund. In the first week, 7 of the 10 matches were outright results with three draws while over the first four weeks 30 of the first 40 games had an outright winner with 10 of the games ending in draws. Given the conditions of the special and the need to have your side win to get the full collect a 75% strike rate in this sample size over the first month is encouraging. Good luck in using the TABtouch EPL special to your advantage this weekend.
