Race 1

FROSTY BAY has the necessary gate speed to take advantage of the gun alley. Ran well behind a few classy types last time out. ROUTE EIGHTY EIGHT was encouraging on debut coming off 400m jump outs. DYNAMITE JACK has always shown a bit and could sneak under the radar. RUNS TO PARADISE was caught wide throughout at her most recent.

Numbers: 8 – 10 – 2 – 5

Suggested Bet – FROSTY BAY WIN

Race 2

HONGLONG hit the line hard in a strongly run race at Northam which would suggest he will gobble up the extra distance here. MIRACLE MAN was ridden to centimeter perfection last start. Box seats here. NORTH COL is thrown in with a postage stamp weight and blinkers go on. ROCK OR BUST is grinding away well enough to pinch a race.

Numbers: 8 – 1 – 7 – 5

Suggested Bet – HONGLONG EACHWAY

Race 3

NO PLACE TO HIDE should get an economical run just off the speed and has a short sharp sprint which could get her over the top. COSTA OESTE would be hard to run down if he jumped and found the fence. OUR MAORI BOY looked the winner at the furlong last Wednesday before hitting a brick wall. BREAK THE CHAIN has a bit of X-Factor about him and could be a sharp improver.

Race 4

YEAH DARDY was an impressive first-up winner last campaign and then did a lot wrong in Saturday grade. This is a winnable race for him. KEEPER’S TALE was never in the race over the short course on a rain affected track. Big improver here. BALI KING PRAWN improved lengths when allowed to stride in front. AMALIEMOO was only grinding first-up, she’s better than that.

Race 5

LORENTINIO was unable to reel in the leader last Wednesday. Should be given every possible chance by an inform Tayla Stone. WOODMANS KEEP also backs up off 7 days. He should be there abouts at the finish. RYAMAR is better suited at this trip on the fresher side. SEALED WITH A KISS was excellent first-up and woeful second-up. Forgive that run and he is right in this.

Race 6

JUST A FLUKE is more than capable of running rivals ragged. If he gets a soft lead he will be very hard to chase down. FATHER KNICK will win his fair share of races, but possibly beyond the sprint trip. THE ANAESSTHETIST gets back and charges home. Held up at crucial stages last start. ROUND THE POINT has more than enough speed to hold leader’s back.

Numbers: 3 – 8 – 1 – 10

Race 7

NEW TIME is a veteran who does his best work when allowed to roll. Very strong all the way win a fortnight ago. GENERAL HUSSON had every chance to run him down last start and should do again. ANOTHER VISION has a heinous Belmont Park record but her recent efforts have all been good. COUNT TOMOZ OFF finally broke through after a decent run of outs.

Numbers: 1 – 4 – 6 – 8

Suggested Bet – NEW TIME EACHWAY

Race 8

STARKLE was big in defeat last start when he hit the front a bit too soon and was left a sitting duck. TAKE IT LIKE A MAN should get a near identical run in transit to his last start victory. KELVA KEZZA should slide forwards from the gate, if she lobs outside the leader goes very close. ASPEN STAR will be grinding away just in behind the pace setters.
