Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 28, 2023October 28, 2023 | Posted by Harry Buchanan CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 4 Seriously Lush Racing well and while she will again need the arm or close to it, she will stick on strongly if she does get it. Close to a win. Race 3 No. 3 Cawbourne Roses and No. 6 It’s A Dime Final here and the 3 is better drawn this time and represents good each way value. Will find the fence early and strong home. The 6 can go well with a better start. Is taking time to get into her work but she’s capable of more than she has shown lately and shouldn’t be ignored here. Race 4 No. 4 King Tommy Monster performance last week in the All Stars. Simply should have won when climbing all over them turning. Mapped to get there sooner and will be very hard to stop here. Race 5 No. 3 West On Nugget and No. 8 Tessa Nature Huge run by the 3 last week. Made up many lengths from the back and should have won. A better step is all that stands between him and winning here. The 8 could spear up here and sweep to the front early. She is better than form suggests and could surprise at odds. Race 6 No. 2 Disco Trixie Have this fav plenty to think about last week and the draw now favours her to go even closer. Is stepping well and the inside means she could find the top here. Will take a stack of catching. Race 7 No. 1 Fab’s Max Potato OUTRAGEOUS QUOTE!!! This is his chance. Everything is in his favour here. The box, the drop in trip from 600 and the wide runner outside him with no speed. Just needs to punch up and hold a position. Will charge through the middle section and is a huge each way show with any sort of first turn luck. Can stun these. Race 9 No. 6 Get Out Didn’t use the red like he should have last week and wanted to step off throughout. Will go better out here with a little room to move. Watch for him to work into it at the top and can run top two. Race 10 No. 8 Pepper Grinder Last chance. No excuses. Getting back but this time she really should just round these up. Won’t get any more if she doesn’t as there is little to stop her here with all things equal. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 1 Yachi Bale Small field his go and he’s handling the inside better these days. Nothing will descend harder here in the run home and small field will see him get his chance. Race 6 No. 2 My Bonneville Gets the better draw this time and will only have to step well to drag up behind the red early. He’s a good dog who can make her work the whole way and even topple her. Race 8 No. 1 Amron Dan and No. 8 Dragon Inn The 1 is a much better dog off the fence and he just needs to hold up early to be a force late. The 8 is underrated and can show a turn of foot. Sticks on well but will need to come out his best. Chance for him at odds. Race 10 No. 1 Scott Me Hard race but he has his box and he’s very strong on the way home. Doesn’t run the time but any trouble will see him capitalise and possibly hit the frame. Race 11 No. 3 Zipping Crusader and No. 7 Quested Bale The 3 will be looking for a first turn run here and can work home strongly from there. Loves it here. The 7 will need his best step but if he crosses and tracked the 6 up, he’s a threat on the way home. Last bit can test. WENTWORTH PARK Race 3 No. 4 Tiger Jack and No. 6 Charlm Dancer He’s the best dog in this race the 4 albeit a staying type. They won’t want to let him run or he will drop on these. Can hit the frame at each way odds. The 6 is going well and can offset the box here with a good step. Runs good time and can win with a first turn lead. Race 7 No. 8 Emgrand Centre Big run last week. Looks better suited wide with the way he wanted middle track. Kept finding and hitting the line to just miss and can atone here. Race 9 No. 8 Rothwell Chunk Another who is well boxed. Can take a bit to wind up but he’s very good late and can descend on these to hit the placings at a good each way quote. Don’t dismiss him. Market Market
