Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on September 22, 2023September 22, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 6 Cold Sugar and No. 7 Calico Joe Expect a better step and showing from the 6 here. Can get up there and go close if she leads. The 7 is racing well and while he wants the fence, he is capable of offsetting the outside box and figuring. Race 2 No. 7 Silly Old Bear Start important here but he can step quickly and has good muster. Capable of crossing but can also stick on late. Will be a solid EW chance with a clear run. Race 4 No. 8 Beckie’s Dream and No. 6 Cyclone Rupee The 8 can run her race in patches but she has talent and is strong late. Well drawn here also. Don’t dismiss. The 6 will work home well and just needs a few breaks up the back. Not a strong race and he will get a look if he can obtain a clear run early. Race 6 No. 6 Whiskey On Rocks and No. 7 Bang The 6 is racing well and she will go over heels here. Starts her run up the back and looks a strong EW prospect again. The 7 will come out running one day over this trip and they won’t catch him. Can handle the draw and just needs his best step to figure. Don’t dismiss him just yet. Race 7 No. 8 Zonte Perfectly boxed and has a blistering 15.6 win to his credit here. Only has to step and he will rush up out wide and assume control and that would be it. Boxed to go seriously close here. Race 8 No. 4 Ultimate Command Racing at his very best and will again go well here. Stepping quickly and just keeps coming and will give these a stack to worry about if he gets there early again. Top 2 contender here. Race 10 No. 3 Rocky Balboa and No. 8 Jumping Jill Looking for the arm dogs. The 3 is boxed better this time and he will go fast early here and he does his best work on the arm. As does the 8 who is a good beginner. She needs to lead to win but will dart over quickly here and look for the top. Both smokie hopes to lead all the way. Race 12 No. 4 Notorious Harada Forget last week. Wasn’t suited to the inside draw when stepping well but wanting a little room in the middle of the track and that got her pushed back. Will ping here again and wins if she gets a solo arm here up the back. Can atone. Market Market
