Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 1, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 4 Kingsbrae Huxley Not sure how many more chances we can give him but there is no doubting he has the ability to step and put these away. Slow starts have been costly his last couple and needs to come out better this time. Can get it done with a cleaner getaway here but he must produce today. Race 6 No. 7 Mango Salsa and No. 6 Maximum Sarah The 7 was dropped at the start by a missile last time out. Nothing was given a chance in that. He can get back into it here with a good beginning. Consistent and can figure. The 6 can spear out on her day and she is hard to catch in this grade. Another who was in that race with Rapido Scud, she will enjoy the easier class here. Race 7 No. 5 Express Malt and No. 6 Maid of Argyll The 5 gets a huge class drop here. From FFA company back to 4/5th grade means she will be very hard to stop. Has a fast win here and unbelievable w/p strike rate at this track and trip. Quickly beginner and looks ominous. The 6 can surprise when she’s on and has a good turn of foot at box rise. Can ping out and run time. Don’t dismiss her. Race 8 No. 7 Global Gold and No. 1 Fawn Roller The short course torpedos going around again on a Monday. The 7 gets the best draw this week due to the kennel mate wanting off the track and drawing 3. She will go her 15.9 and be very hard to catch. The 1 is not entirely happy in Box 1 but he might get a nice map here and be able to step off slightly at the first turn and get away with it. He also flies around here and is hard to beat. Race 9 No. 7 Sugar Ray Gala Back to more suitable company and a more suitable distance. Almost led last time he was over this track and trip and did so the start prior leading all the way. Musters up quickly out wide and will be hard to catch if he crosses to the point they won’t catch him. Only needs to come out and fire over to be the one to beat. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 4 Springvale Rex Was tried over the long trip last start and didn’t quite see it out. His effort suggests this trip is perfect however and will enjoy the small field. Has some good wins over the sprint to his name and runs a big last section. Looks threatening here. Race 6 No. 8 Raptor and No. 2 Under Study The 8 is way over the odds here and he won’t be out of the winners list for long. Has had little to no luck in his only two starts in SA and while better drawn in, can handle a wide box and has super acceleration. The 2 will stay on the fence and keep hitting the line. Well drawn and can land closer than usual here. Look for her late. Both EW plays. Race 7 No. 2 Under Siege The sooner she gets to 600 the better. In saying that, she is a silly quote here and the full field could play to her advantage as she will capitalise on any trouble, and the map suggests there might be some. Has a big middle and last section and will thunder home hard here. Place heavy. Race 9 No. 8 Stars Aligned Ignore her form. She is going much better than it shows. Was unlucky last week when cut off through the first turn about to make her long run home. Still got going to smack the line and finish just off them and the small field here will allow her to get a crack at some stage. Can hit top two here. Race 12 No. 1 Seymour Andos He’s only getting one more chance because of the notoriously wide running dog in Box 4 and vacant in 3. Will get every possible chance to use the box to muster to the front and shouldn’t be caught if he does. His best wins this and he gets the opportunity to show it one last time here. Market Market
