The Scout: EPL Week 22 Posted on February 2, 2021February 2, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Wolverhampton vs Arsenal Arsenal (10th) have gone seven Premier League matches without tasting defeat and are now just six points from the top four. Wolverhampton’s (14th) weekend loss to Crystal Palace made it eight games without a win. Since losing Jimenez to injury, they (clearly) haven’t been close to their best. The Gunners will be boosted by the return of Bukayo Saka, with the young winger scoring in four of his last six Premier League games. He really transforms this Arsenal attack. Wolves have lost back-to-back games at home to West Brom and Everton and I think they get the hat-trick here against Arsenal, who have are keeping clean sheets for fun (five of their last six games). Suggested Bet: Arsenal (Match Result) @ $2.05* Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Newcastle (15th) scored an impressive 2-0 away win over Everton at the weekend, breaking a streak of nine games without victory. Crystal Palace (13th) also claimed maximum points over the weekend, with a 1-0 win at home to Wolves. Newcastle’s win coincided with the return to form of striker Callum Wilson. The Englishman was in every way the difference maker, scoring both goals in a dominant display. The Englishman is the barometer for Newcastle, with 10 goals from his 19 appearances this season, and should continue to improve with games under his belt post-injury. Crystal Palace have a recent 4-0 loss to Manchester City and a 3-0 loss to Aston Villa. I think we can jump on board with Wilson for at least one more game. Suggested Bet: Callum Wilson Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.40* Liverpool vs Brighton Liverpool (3rd) had a fruitful trip to London with back-to-back wins at Tottenham and West Ham, and now face Brighton (17th) who themselves beat Tottenham (1-0) at the weekend. Brighton’s lacklustre attack has produced just two goals in their last four Premier League matches, with the Seagulls struggling to create opportunities, or even keep possession in attacking areas. Mo Salah looms the difference maker here as he often does, with no one on this Brighton side able to match the Egyptian’s class. Brighton have been defending well but with two goals last game, Salah looks to have stepped up a level after losing some (more) of his key running mates to injury. Suggested Bet: Liverpool Win to Nil @ 2.30* *Odds correct as at 4pm, 2nd February 2021. Market Market
