Scott Embry’s Sunday Bunbury Preview Posted on November 22, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 THIS’LL TESTYA has shown enormous talent at two public trials. The most recent one she attacked the leader at the 800m marker in a 950 trial. The leader finished back with the ambulance and she romped in clocking 55.45. She’ll likely open ~$1.40. PIP was far from disgraced at Albany first-up. She can run second behind the fav. DRAGONFLIES is getting very close to a maiden win but becoming costly to punters. TINTO BELLE likely to be run off her feet but finishing off. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – THIS’LL TESTYA WIN Race 2 JAKESTAR sat just off Red Warrior on debut and ran a ripper race going down a head. He beat home We’ve Got Dreams who waltzed in at Albany when well supported. Gets a great chance to lead or box seat here and go one better. CASINO WAR went close on multiple occasions last campaign. Trialed really well and looks in for a good prep. CANDIJAY was strong on debut off the back of a solid trial. MISS QUOTED is quirky but has a turn of foot. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 9 – 2 Suggested Bet – JAKESTAR WIN Race 3 STARAUTHORESS was backed as if unbeatable at his WA debut. Was absolutely smashed on every corporate Australia wide and huge money traded on the exchange. Trialed like a horse who would need a mile and gets that here. DREAMY ALICE is racing well and draws a gate to sit midfield. THE DIVINE WIND likely leads them up from the gate and is consistent. MALAKHI draws wide but can sustain a run. Numbers: 10 – 9 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – STARAUTHORESS WIN Race 4 TOO FAT TOO SLOW backs up from last Sunday at Albany when only nailed on the post by an above average Snitzel 3 year old. That could turn into a strong form reference and he is better suited up in distance. Can out grind moderate opposition. MERIVALE MAGIC is yet to show much in two starts but shades on and Parnham on catch the eye. EXCLUSIVE ZULU should get the run of the race from the inside. LAMBEK a blow out hope. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – TOO FAT TOO SLOW WIN Race 5 SAVAQUIN was backed strongly at his WA debut and scored with a rails hugging ride by P.Hall. Should land in a similar position in running and the way he hit the line suggests he’ll eat up all of the 2000m. DO A PATAKY has strong form of recent time and looks to be screaming out for the trip. TREAT YO SELF improved sharply in a weak maiden to score last time out. FIRST BLACK can do al ot wrong but if she turns up she can win. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 7 – 4 Suggested Bet – SAVAQUIN WIN Race 6 CHATTER SESSION is quite an exciting filly on the rise. Her first-up win was strong after an effortless barrier trial victory. This race has tonnes of speed and she can either lead them up or take a sit. Very hard to beat here. SOLARIZE bombed the start at Ascot and was never in the race. Forget he went round. LADIES OF LONDON is a nice mare resuming. Could find them a touch sharp at the 1000. LONDON MISS was strong breezing and winning last start. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 3 – 9 Suggested Bet – CHATTER SESSION WIN Race 7 NELSON’S FLIGHT simply picks himself on form. His last 15 starts have been in 64+, 72+ or Group racing and this is superb placement back into a 60+. He races on speed, slides across and should simply dominate moderate opposition. GEIGER GEM normally takes two or three runs to get fit but then holds form strongly. JUST LIKE FIRE goes back to last and is saved for one finishing burst. SWIFT MIRAGE is racing particularly well. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 10 Suggested Bet – NELSON’S FLIGHT WIN Race 8 SILKINIZE is a very nice 3 year old thrown into a weak C3 event. He should be odds on and for a reason. His last start effort was behind Massimo and Ziebell beating home Miss Tycoon, War Fish, Drinkwhatyoulike, Pretty Style. Any of those would be favourite in this field and he was the run of the race. CHOICE COMMAND slides forward to race over the speed. HORIZON is consistent and loves Bunbury. IT COMES NATURAL stalks the speed. Numbers: 7 – 4 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – SILKINIZE WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) FD 8 1 7 Market Market
