The Scout: EPL Matchday 31 Posted on March 15, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Burnley vs Leicester City 16th March, 11pm WST Leicester’s new manager Brendan Rogers picked up his first win in the Premier League last weekend with a 3-1 win over Fulham. Meanwhile Burnley find themselves in poor form having lost three in a row, including last weekend’s 4-2 loss at the hands of Liverpool. Although Burnley’s results on paper don’t read well, they were gallant against Liverpool. They scored first and managed two goals against the best defensive side in the Premier League. Leicester have been solid in attack, and thanks largely to a rejuvenated Jamie Vardy, The Foxes have scored at least one goal in their last five Premier League fixtures. This is a tough match to predict a winner, so I’ll be going with both teams to score which has happened six of the last seven Premier League fixtures for Burnley and in the last 5 matches for Leicester. Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score @ $1.85 Bournemouth vs Newcastle 16th March, 11pm WST This is a great clash between two sides who are right next to each other in the standings, with Bournemouth (12th) playing host to Newcastle (13th). Bournemouth have been on the slide but picked up a much-needed 2-0 win away at Huddersfield last matchday while Newcastle have been one of the surprise form teams of 2019, coming back from a 2-0 halftime deficit last weekend against Everton to win 3-2. The Magpies have not had an away win in six matches with their only victories on the road coming against Burnley and Huddersfield. As good as Newcastle have been, I am confident that Bournemouth are back in their early season form and will win this fixture. The return of striker Callum Wilson and his attacking chemistry with midfielder Ryan Fraser is too hard to ignore and should be the difference here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Bournemouth @ $2.00 Fulham vs Liverpool 17th March, 10.15pm WST Liverpool sit just one point behind Manchester City and have an opportunity to regain top spot in the Premier League with a win over Fulham – a likely result. Fulham (19th) appear certain for relegation, and having lost their last six Premier League fixtures it appears the playing group may have lost their motivation to compete. It’s been an odd run for Liverpool since their only defeat for the season (2-1 loss to Manchester City), they have either dismantled opponents scoring at will or have been frustrated and ground out multiple draws. However a 4-2 win over Burnley last weekend has put the Liverpool steam train back on the tracks and I think it will continue as they travel to Fulham. I expect Liverpool to be ruthless in this match with plenty of chances at goal while defending impeccably like they have nearly all season. Senegalese forward Sadio Mane has been in exciting form with eight goals and four assists in his last eight matches.
