Greg Hooper’s Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on May 27, 2016May 30, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 1 MINCE PIE led and gave a strong kick on debut. She improves off that run and goes close. HEY LISTEN comes up from Albany. She was well supported in her only career start. She’s trialled well since then. REVVING TO WIN and ORIENTAL CLASSIC both ran well in their local debuts. Numbers – 9 – 10 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – Mince Pie win RACE 2 ANTALYA should get a nice run from a good draw and go close. He put the writing on the wall at his most recent outing. DANERIP’S GIRL makes her debut at this track. If she brings her best form she goes very close. FIERACAVALLI leads and gives an honest account of himself again. TOUCH THE CLOUDS can win despite the awkward draw. Numbers – 10 – 13 – 2 – 14 Suggested Bet – Antalya each-way RACE 3 ATTAMOR broke through for a deserving win last start. Lucy Warwick hopped on and she gave him the run of the race. From gate 1 she can do the same again and make it consecutive wins. OMERTA should find the front and be hard to run down. MISS KITWE finished off nicely at Northam and measures up in this grade. RIPPING YARN will get off the speed and finish strongly. Numbers – 2 – 3 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – Attamor and Omerta RACE 4 Very open race. ASHANTI LASS should box seat from gate 1 and she gets her chance for her sixth career win. FAT AMY improved sharply last start and this looks very suitable. PADDY will get off the speed and work home strongly as will LORD BALTHAAZAR. Numbers – 7 – 6 – 4 -3 Suggested Bet – Ashanti Lass each-way RACE 5 WICHITA LINESMAN makes his Kalgoorlie debut after competing solidly at Belmont and Pinjarra. He drops in to get a lovely trail from gate 3 and this looks the easiest race he has contested all preparation. YEAH YEAH YEAH has the outside gate to overcome however Glenn Smith jumps on and he beats most of these on ability alone. PLANET BLACK is very honest and will has claims. BOHEMIAN GODDESS smashed a weak maiden field at her most recent start. Numbers – 5 – 1 – 4 – 10 Suggested Bet – Wichita Linesman each-way RACE 6 CROWN SAGA looks very close to breaking through. He’ll enjoy a strong top end speed and finish strongly. PROHURST EXPRESS beat him last start and can win again. PHAROMAC is able to produce a big run fresh. DELRAY BEACH resumes without a trial and must be respected if there is a market move for him. Numbers – 6 – 7 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – Crown Saga and Prohurst Express RACE 7 Hopefully TAHGEO JAY can cap off a big day for the Glenn Smith/Peter Fernie combination. He has been flying all preparation and the bigger field should ensure a more genuine tempo and he can turn the tables on GONDIGGIN. She looks the main danger again. STANTON ABBEY toyed with them last week in a weak maiden. KAMBALLIE is consistent and has claims. Numbers – 6 – 7 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – Tahgeo Jay and Gondiggin QUADDIE RACE 4 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 RACE 5 – 1 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 10 RACE 6 – 6 – 7 RACE 7 – 6 – 7 – 8 Bet Now
