Warren Huntly’s Saturday Flemington Preview Posted on July 17, 2025July 17, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 DUCHESS ZOU has got her career off to an encouraging start and her run at Listed level last start was a positive indication that 1400m will suit. HARRY’S YACHT has returned in good form and maps for a good run near the speed. LEGACY BAY and LARIO come through the same race and both have a strong case. JUST FOR SHOW was forced to do a lot of chasing behind Harry’s Yacht and may settle closer with Shinn taking over. Selections: 3,1,4,5 Suggested Bet: Duchess Zou to win Race 2 ARCORA comes through a key form race and may settle better with blinkers coming off and visors going on. BAYOU MUSIC was closing off strongly in that race and 1800m should suit. BERMONDSEY Falso comes through that race, he was jumping from 1100m to 1600m on that occasion and should be improved by the run. FRANKIE’S BOY was well supported in NSW on debut and should appreciate former ground. ZUPPA INGLESE covered ground last start and shapes as a staying type. Selections: 2,1,4,5 Suggested Bet: Arcora each way Race 3 ZORRO’S FLIGHT races well here and gave an indication of a return to form last time. ALL BUSINESS looks a great winning hope also, she sprinted impressively on the heavy ground last start and her previous form on drier ground is strong. MOONLIGHT CIRCUS broke her maiden in impressive fashion first up and looks suited by the rise in trip. EM SIXTY is racing though the grade in good style and maps for a good run. Selections: 3,6,13,4 Suggested Bet: Zorro’s Flight each way Race 4 OYSTER LANE had jumped out well prior to an encouraging debut and should be improved by that run. SHINING SMILE has been a benchmark two year old this season, he handles the straight well and has jumped out in good style to resume. BOLD SECRET has been jumping out well and responded nicely when asked for an effort in his latest hit out. YAMASHITA’S GOLD has form around Shining Smile and had little luck when well supported first up. SIDELINE won the maiden in good style on the Ballarat synthetic on debut and is open to improvement. Selections: 3,1,10,4 Suggested Bet: Oyster Lane to win Race 5 Competitive race for the Rising Stars Series Final. SOUND IT OUT is racing well and looks suited to the spacious Flemington circuit. MISS TARZY hit the line strongly to score first up and will appreciate the step up in trip. LAKE VOSTOK ran well first up and has performed creditably at both second up runs to date. CINDY FALLS was ok behind Miss Tarzy and gets blinkers first time. JAZZ AFFAIR and PARIAH PEARL have claims. Selections: 7,1,12,3 Suggested Bet: Sound It Out Each way Race 6 LA FRACAS looks promising, he strikes firmer ground and the inside draw down but his upside is hard to overlook. GREAT MAXIMUS chased well in a strong race last time and may be suited coming back to 1200m. DE BERGERAC was no match for La Fracas second up but will strip fitter and gets a weight swing. MOBY DICK is proving hard to catch but has the talent to win and was an impressive winner down the straight earlier in his career.. DAZZLING LUCY has run well down the straight previously and gets blinkers back on Selections: 8,2,11,6 Suggested Bet: La Fracas to win Race 7 MUKTAMIL has been racing well in some key lead up races and gives the impression2800m will be ok. He gets a weight advantage on BOLD SOUL, who is also racing well and has obvious claims again. LOFT may head to a jumps meeting on Sunday but is going well enough to respect if the stable elect to run here. MORMONA brings some solid Sydney form and is a winner out to 3000m. VIRTUOUS CIRCLE has been going ok against some key rivals and gets blinkers first time. Selections: 14,4,2,8 Suggested Bet: Muktamil each way Race 8 SAYEDATY SADATY got the right run to score last start but ran through the line strongly and may appreciate being kept around this trip. CASINO SEVENTEEN hit the line well behind an in-form galloper at his first run for the new stable and looks suited by the rise in distance. MILFORD hasn’t had a lot of luck of late and is probably looking for 2000m now. GLORY DAZE is racing well in Sydney and should be suited by what appears to be a reasonable tempo. DUBLIN JOURNAL is in the game as long as the track is no worse than a soft 5. Selections: 7,1,9,5 Suggested Bet: Sayedaty Sadaty each way Same Race Multi: Sayedaty Sadaty (Top 2) + Casino Seventeen (Top 4) Race 9 LOSESOMEWINMORE handles the straight well and chased strongly behind an in-form galloper last time. HAJRA impressed winning an easier race in Adelaide last start and may settle closer down the straight. HARRY GOT STYLES had the better of Losesomewinmore two starts back and has run well since. DOCUMENTARY has some upside and has jumped out ok to resume. BEAST MODE will strip fitter for an encouraging return and brings a solid second up record. Selections: 2,15,3,12 Suggested Bet: Losesomewinmore each way Market Market
