Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Tips Posted on November 17, 2022November 21, 2022 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 GETN WIGGY WITHIT (3) has impressed in winning his last two starts including a Pinjarra win on Monday where he sprinted brilliantly. He is drawn to be in the firing line throughout and looks a good chance to bring up the hat-trick. COOL WATER PADDY (2) has battled bad barriers of late but is drawn inside his main rivals tonight and should give great sight. ARMED REACTOR (11) was ultra-impressive when a 1.56.7 winner here at his last start and must be respected. PONTEVIVO (12) has been placed in four of his last five starts. Tips: 3 2 11 12 Suggested Bet: GETN WIGGY WITHIT (3) to win. Race 2 PAPINIK (2) raced against the state’s best pacer and a recent 1.56.7 Pinjarra trial win indicates that he will be extremely hard to brat against this line-up. BEAT CITY (5) ran a close 3rd to Ideal Agent here last week and looks the obvious danger. BLISSFULLABBEY (1) led throughout from this draw back in July and can play a part at her first run back from a spell. BRACKEN SKY (10) will strip fitter for his first-up 5th and is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs. Tips: 2 5 1 10 Suggested Bet: PAPINIK (2) to win. Race 3 IDEAL AGENT (4) is building up to his best form and was a strong winner from the breeze here last week. This a slight rise in class but he still appeals as the one to beat. TYPHOON BANNER (3) will strip fitter for his first-up 3rd to Whatabro and looks a major player from his nice draw. TYLER BRETT (1) has the gate speed to lead if desired and should be thereabouts from his perfect draw. RASCAL (2) should enjoy a nice run close to the speed and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 4 3 1 2 Suggested Bet: IDEAL AGENT (4) to win. Race 4 HAMPTON BANNER (3) was caught in the breeze for too long at his last start but looks the likely leader here and will be hard to catch over the sprint trip. WILDWEST (5) beat most of these home last week when he ran on well to finish 2nd to Magnificent Storm and will come right into contention if there is a solid early tempo. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (6) ran a nice 3rd at his first run back from a spell and is a classy customer at his best. DIEGO (7) has the turn of foot to be dangerous but the draw makes it tough. Tips: 3 5 6 7 Suggested Bet: HAMPTON BANNER (3) to win. Race 5 LAVRA JOE (1) led throughout to beat a similar group of 4YO’s at his last start and is clearly the one to beat after coming up with the pole draw. TENZING BROMAC (10) is the new kid on the block and the rise in class is offset by his perfect trailing draw. JUMPINGJACKMAC (12) ran on well to finish a nice 3rd to LAVRA JOE (1) at his last start but will be giving the favourite a head start again. MACHNIFICENT (3) was held up until too late when 2nd here last week and can be placed with the right run. Tips: 1 10 12 3 Suggested Bet: LAVRA JOE (1) to win. Race 6 THREE RUMOURS (1) has finished at the rear at her last two starts but led when 2nd to THE AMBER HARE (5) here three starts back and should give a great sight from the pole. THE AMBER HARE (5) clearly has the best form in the race and will press forward and fight out the finish. MISS LAMARR (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and should be thereabouts. LADY ZEGNA (3) ran on well at her last start and can be placed at odds. Tips: 1 5 10 3 Suggested Bet: THREE RUMOURS (1) to win. Race 7 MASTER PUBLISHER (4) was a strong 3rd from the breeze here last week and is drawn inside his main rivals tonight. DONT BOTHER ME NONE (6) hasn’t recaptured his juvenile form but is racing well enough for a race of this nature. DOMINUS FACTUM (5) has blistering gate speed and he will give some cheek if he can cross at the start. FANCI A DANCE (8) has been placed in eight of his past 11 starts and has the strength to overcome the wide draw. Tips: 4 6 5 8 Suggested Bet: MASTER PUBLISHER (4) to win. Race 8 MISS ALLEGRA (5) has shown her share of ability in her four WA starts and appeals as the one to beat tonight after drawing inside her main rivals. CYCLONE CHARLOTTE (11) is an improving type who was a strong Northam winner at her last start and is ready for the rise in class. TAKING THE MIKI (9) has the best form in the event and won the WA Oaks four starts back but has a tough draw to overcome. CATCH THE RED EYE (7) hasn’t had much luck of late and can surprise at big odds. Tips: 5 11 9 7 Suggested Bet: CATCH THE RED EYE (7) each way. Race 9 HIMSELF (5) hasn’t finished further back than 2nd in his last nine starts and has won seven of his nine attempts from the stand. He has a slightly awkward draw to overcome but is clearly the one to beat. ROBBIE ROCKET (8) led throughout from the stand before running a game 2nd here last week and should fight out the finish again. FIREROCKFIREROLL (7) was impressive in running on from the rear to win here last and must be considered again. DEEORSE (1) ran 3rd in a similar event here last week and can be placed again. Tips: 5 8 7 1 Suggested Bet: HIMSELF (5) to win. Race 10 HES NEVER BEEN BETA (7) has been ultra-impressive in winning his last two starts against similar fields and has the strength to overcome the wide draw. COLORADO BANNER (1) has won two of his three race starts and should lead here and looks the obvious danger. VELOCIPEDE (2) appears to be a rung below his stablemate but he should enjoy a lovely run in transit and won’t be far away. DUARADO (3) led and had his chance when a 2.2m 3rd to HES NEVER BEEN BETA (7) and looks the only other winning chance. Tips: 7 1 2 3 Suggested Bet: HES NEVER BEEN BETA (7) to win. Race 11 LAMANDIER (1) had his chance when 3rd to Manning here last week but looks the leader tonight and will be hard to beat in this moderate line-up. OUR SHELLEY BEACH (4) wasn’t far away when 6th in that event and looks the danger, if there is one. SAMEPLACE SAMETIME (2) has only been placed in one of his past 16 starts but is drawn to get a lovely run in transit. MARQUISARD (3) was unplaced in his last ten starts before going for a spell but will be competitive if he comes back somewhere near his best. Tips: 1 4 2 3 Suggested Bet: LAMANDIER (1) to win.
