Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on November 17, 2022November 18, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.2 Soothsayer Lightly raced galloper from the Lee Freedman yard who brings the right form lines into this race. A winner at Eagle Farm three back he then missed the start and as a result was never in the contest two back before a good second last time out beating all bar Yellow Brick who is a very smart 3yo being set for better races over the summer carnival. He just needs to jump on terms, from there he’ll land a forward spot and prove the one to beat. RACE 6 No.9 Logan Street Lion Somewhat of a 1400m specialist this one having had 8 career starts with 6 of them being over this trip winning on 4 occasions. He made his Queensland debut recently when a late closing winner at Eagle Farm, plenty of merit in that performance as the tempo was very soft up front, his effort to run down those leaders was a very good one. Fitter this time around he can add to his impressive record. RACE 7 No.9 Je Suis Belle Super consistent mare who resumed with a fast-finishing Eagle Farm second on Melbourne Cup Day. Although not likely to settle too close to the lead (don’t want her to) she can park closer than first up and stripping fitter she’s going to really attack the line in the straight. She’s won 3 and placed 3 from her 7 starts on the track and can build on that record Saturday. Quaddie 9, 12 9, 5, 2 11, 16, 8, 9, 10 10, 12, 11 Market Market
